I find the disability rep in wtcd so disappointing. Every characters disability is just... Ignored. Kitsune's wheelchair being an infamous example. I understand not wanting the characters to seem like nothing but their disability, but you have to show how that disability affects them. DID is the only condition that isn't treated like a fun label.

Honestly I even feel like the DID was thrown in there for shock value. Yes, I'm aware Soda is a system themselves, but so am I. To add on to this, it was mainly the fact that they put Ryoshi (A *very young* CHILD!!) in there. I don't know. Just puts me on edge.

But yeah. The way they treat disabilities as a thing for brownie points and don't even put effort into showing it digusts me.

the fact that they asked for help if they messed up any rep and yet it seems nobody offered despite complaining so much now is weird (on both soda’s side and here’s side)

It's literally crazy how they were like "let me know if I messed up anything!!" but once people called them out they gave a horrible apology then continued doing the same stuff as usual... I completely agree with you /gen

wtcds so fuckin funny for making all the canon nds awful rep for the condition theyre actually supposed to have but them being decent rep for another thing one to the left. i wonder if soda did that intentionally? its hard to tell.

The nd rep is so awful, especially the autism rep it makes me wanna p/ke

Another wtcd criticism: the ableism. there is alot of it in wtcd, but the one I'll be focusing on here is the whole kitsune wheelchair thing. they are never seen in it and we're only told about it. this got to the point where i even forgot that theyre supposed to be in a wheelchair. i really cannot believe that s*da thought this was good representation. i really cannot.

I completely agree. I only remember one scene where you could see it. Besides that, it was completely ignored, and S/da had Kitsune doing things that would be extremely hard for wheelchair users, such as lifting someone up.

Honestly I think its a bit weird how Hana's treated as less guilty of his murder when he took the time and planned it out in advance, especially because a lot of people are just like "see he's having a breakdown in his trial that means he was just having a bad day". like, that really doesn't get someone off the hook for murder. also the way its implied she was lying through the entire relationship between her and ntombi and especially during chapter 2, only to be forgiven for the sake of a ship?

Same, it’s extremely strange how he wasn’t treated as seriously for her actions. A breakdown doesn’t excuse straight up MURDER. The relationship is extremely rocky, and forgiving someone that easy is unrealistic.

Hello this is less so a criticism of WTCD it’s self and more of a worry about Soda I generally believe soda is some kinda danger to others seeing as they are so willing to send mobs after people they’re also so willing to call people ab/sers and make false claims land can’t take an criticism that isn’t being nice to them I also really believe with that bun really needs to get offline and honestly never come back same goes for Remi too I believe they both are dangers to others and I believe both of them one day will cross a line way to far and end up hurting people way far beyond all this.Another thing I’ve noticed about their behavior is that they let adults go way to far in the WTCD server with some jokes they’ll make because some Adults in said server would make very s*dual jokes around a bunch of minors the youngest of which were 12 to 13 I’m willing to add on more to this last part in another ask if you’d like too btw!

Oh I totally agree! It really scares me how Soda and Remi send whole mobs to attack people they don't agree with. It's immature, and can also deeply impact someone emotionally.

The types of jokes they make in the server are NOT okay. Considering the age of their fanbase, it's just creepy to have people making those jokes and not getting called out for it.
