If our avatar is familiar, it’s from my current WIP project (a short-story for an Image Comics’ “Bitch Planet” upcoming anthology). I’m already regretting the fact that I’ll have to turn these layout doodles into finished works!

Howdy and welcome to the first post of WTF WIPs! This Tumblr is a testament to the polished, beautiful final product that artists share and the road to get to that point. To be straight up: most of our roughs look like shit and anyone we’re collaborating with just has to take it on faith that we are somehow going to get it somewhere awesome.  Are you a comic artist? Illustrator? Animator? Just a doodler? If you have goofy work-in-progress shots, you should submit ‘em... For the betterment of the artistic community! But mostly, for the lulz. 

For the first post, I’m sharing a few of my rougher roughs, #1 and #3 from Emet Comic’s “Finding Molly” and #2 from the upcoming “Misfits” comic from IDW.
