The 1860 Store House was commissioned by the Jarvis Educational Foundation as an ancillary building to the neighboring boarding school. The charity was named after George Jarvis, a London businessman. 

The Staunton on Wye, Herefordshire, UK build was home to the clerk of the charity & also used as meeting rooms and storage of clothes, blankets, etc. for the poor. Tudor Gothic style, 5bds, 2.5ba, £960k / $1,291,439.92 approx. USD.

I love how it looks- modern, yet original, but it does look like an unpretentious charity clerk's house. Comfy and cozy.

The hall connects the living room to the kitchen. Love the wall of shelving.

Isn't this pretty? It has a dishwasher, all the mod-cons, but it looks and feels vintage.

This bedroom looks very gothic. Not sure about that pole, though. I'm thinking it's a water or steam pipe.

I don't mind pitched ceilings, b/c I grew up in an attic apt., and they do give it that gotic shape.
