Shame & Desire

Shame is failing standards set forth by any social entity whether individual or collective Desire is wanting to have something or wishing something to happen Shame and Desire is a phrase that combines these words. It expresses something that individuals are depicting with non-sober mindsets on the weekend; they are expressing actions they wouldn't typically do. More and more it happens because of moral standard being thrown out the window with the blame not entirely on them but rather on the drugs they indulge in. (stimulants and depressants alike). I found this phrase on spring break 2014 in Panama City beach. It really stuck out to me, once someone asked me what it means, that the only reason I was even there was to throw out morals, which I never liked doing but never-fear with liquid courage. I eventually found myself hating this motive that lead me to venture down to Florida. Thus, I have found that this phrase is every drug-induced weekend in college and I have further found that it isn't what I want to define my collegiate career, regardless of continuing to indulge in related activities; Drinking, smoking, trying to fornicate all with more effort it seems than academics. It doesn't amount to anything but finding yourself where you started on Friday night when you wake up hungover on Sunday. It is insanity by definition and I don't know what else to do except try and do less of it by changing the focus from former mentioned to the latter of just letting go of all the worries to getting as fucked up as possible to just letting go the worries of the week by having fun with the people who are going to be there sober or not . Point is understand what you're doing isn't going to please everyone and trying to do so is impossible even if it's you so kick back, socialize with other perspectives and find out where you want to go. The path less traveled is furthering character development farther than imagined.

Moon

You're moon is the most difficult challenge in your present time. It's your choice of course. It will take you the utmost determination and mastery of skill to get there. You might not succeed but when you do get there you will have options. If nobody is there, do you stay or leave? The idea of people being there beforehand is mildly irrelevant for the meaning so bare with the options laid on the table. You either wait for the only other person(s) who wants what you want Or go back and choose a different moon and have the same option. You aren't guaranteed by what comes or doesn't and you don't have all the time in the world when you're human. You just have to be happy with the happiness you wanted from arriving at your moon because you won't always be able to get back. No matter how different it may be than expected before. What do I do

What happens when the only thing you loved so far about college has been being in college? You find yourself in hopes to find the love of life and everything else in this place It's not common but hey a muthafukkah can dream big right?
