So my friend and I have been making fun of the Bratz CGI movies and cartoon, and I’m not exaggerating when I say that it’s one of the most batshit crazy things we’ve ever seen.
Like you’re expecting a Bratz cartoon to just be about slice-of-life stuff like shopping and parties and whatever but here are some ACTUAL things that happen in the Bratz cartoon:
A woman most likely in her late thirties is extremely revenge-hungry against the teenage protagonists because their teen magazine is more popular than hers.
Yes, really, the four teenagers can afford a really nice office space and start up their own magazine.
Simon Cowell (well, a parody of him anyways) is a secret agent.
Some supermodel poisons other supermodels.
Invisible spray exists in this universe.
There’s a movie with the baby versions of the characters that involve them all getting superpowers and there are also a bunch of aliens that look like potatoes. One of the potato aliens has Double D’s voice from Ed, Edd N Eddy.
Character models are recycled for brand new characters and barely any of them are recolored.
The most infamous one is Chachi, who attempts murder in one episode and I’m pretty sure he died at the end. Then he appears again and dies from being forcefed. Then he appears again as the mayor of the city. And then he appears AGAIN with a new name and voice actor. And then he appears YET AGAIN but now he’s called “Big Daddy” and has his original voice actor and the only modification they do to his character model is give him a white Doug Dimmadome, Owner Of The Dimmsdale Dimmadome hat.
