Machmal glaube ich an Reinkarnation.
Du lässt mich sein, so wie ich bin.
Poor little angel, he looks like he’s trying so hard to be brave but he realises, in this moment, that the man he risked his career for just stole from him and went off into the sunset with a dull woman he barely knows.
What an asshole :)
Can I just say how beautiful and sad this video is? And we get to see Ben Whishaw’s lovely ass!
Green eyes, dark hair, sarcastic smile
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
This is true love
Немного сказочной зимы by Алексей Угальников
Another great Japanese interview with Ben Whishaw by Cinema Today on being Q and working with Daniel Craig. Here’s some translation of the interesting bits. Enjoy!
+++++++++++++
- This is your fifth time working with Daniel Craig. Ben: Yes, I first met him when I was seventeen on the set of “The Trench.”
- Do you think you both have changed since then? Ben: No, I don’t think either of us have changed one bit. Daniel hasn’t…the way he works, the way he approaches his characters, haven’t changed at all. He’s completely the same. Like I said, I was seventeen at the time, but I remember vividly about him because I was simply mesmerized. Even back then, he was amazing. He’s a very fun person to be around, but at the same time he is incredibly dedicated to his work. He understands his characters inside-out and how he should deliver them more deeply than anyone else. He really dedicates himself to the film, and he has a clear idea on what works and what will not, and he can explain why very clearly. What I’m trying to say is, I suppose, is that Daniel always gets deeply involved with his projects (*smiles*)
<About Technology> Ben: I really respect people who are fascinated by technology and the way it changes the world, or people, but I can’t say that it has made me tech savvy. Sadly, my brain isn’t wired like that.
<Preparing for Q in Skyfall> Ben: I watched the previous Bond films to get some ideas. I wanted to really understand what happened before Q came back into the picture. I also read some books on MI6 and living your life as a spy.
<Preparing for Q in Spectre> Ben: This time around, I already had Q in my head. I knew who he was, and I was very comfortable having him inside of my brain, so I was able to act straight away in front of the camera.
<About the set of Spectre> Ben: I really love the laboratory they gave Q in this film because it pays homage to the previous Bond films. And everything on my desk is real; there really are documents inside each file with actual data printed. My computer was brilliantly designed as well.
<After the interview> Ben: Are these fruit for everyone? Interviewer: It’s all for you. Ben: Oh. Sorry, can I…? I am suddenly feeling famished! (Note from the interviewer: He then asked if he can have the fruit basket moved to the next room. So cuuuuuute!!)

…So basically he came in with a banana in hand and left with a fruit basket?? He truly is a woodland creature, isn’t he? LOL.
I really wish I could get my hands on the audio or a transcript of the interview before it got translated into Japanese, because so many things get lost in translation. But, I am grateful and happy for having all of these new information and lovely tidbits about him :D My inner fangirl is squeeing with joy!!
Oh, talking about lovely tidbits, I’ve read in another Japanese magazine that during the interview, Ben was enjoying a banana but he does not bite into it, he divides it into bite-sized pieces and pops them into his mouth.
Also, he’s apparently “very, very bad at cooking, I have no talent for it at all. I tried to cook salmon at home once and even that was a disaster! See, no talent for cooking what so ever.”
Awwwwwwww, how cute is that!!!
SPECTRE - Cast photographed by RANKIN for the book “Blood, Sweat and Bond: Behind the Scenes of SPECTRE”, out 27 October 2015.
Ben Whishaw reads Love Sonnet 78 by Pablo Neruda (1904-1973)
I don’t hold on to never. I don’t hold on to forever. In the sand victory leaves vanishing footprints. I’m just a poor man disposed to cherishing our similarities. Whoever you are. I love you. I neither give nor sell suspicion. Someone knows that I haven’t woven crowns of thorns; that I’ve fought the stupidness, And the tide of my spirit filled up with truth. I repaid the vicious with doves.
I don’t hold on to never because I’m distinct, Every moment, I have been, I am, I always will be. In the name of my love’s changeability I proclaim its purity.
Death is only a stone of oblivion. I love you. Into your mouth I kiss happiness. Let’s gather some sticks. Let’s light a fire on the mountain.
Storyline : A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.
