This is X-Factor From The Ashes, a little blog I've made to curate speculation, hype, and fanwork surrounding the upcoming X-Factor (2024) run written by Mark Russell and drawn by Bob Quinn.

Please see below the cut for some blog hygiene notes and basic rules, as I want this blog to be useful for X-Fans at large, not just me.

Tagging System:

Characters will be tagged with their codename. If a character doesn't have a codename, their full human name will be used instead.

Ships will be tagged "codename A x codename B" (ex. "havok x angel")

Common triggers like addiction, gore, and self-harm, among others, will be tagged "triggername tw" for easy blacklisting.

If you have a trigger that can reasonably be tagged for, feel free to request that I tag it.

Nudity and NFSW may be found here, and will be tagged, respectively, as "nudity cw" and "nsfw."

Other tags will include stuff like "speculation," "covers," "meta," "hype," "panels," etc.

Covers and panels will be tagged with what issue they're from, written "issue 1" or "issue 2," etc.

Spoiler Policy:

Spoilers will be tagged as "wednesday spoilers" for one week after an issue drops.

I also don't engage with leaks and don't intend to, also, so please don't send them to me (though previews are always appreciated!).

Submissions/Asks/Usertagging Policy:

Submissions will be on, but may take a day or two to enter the queue.

Anon Asks are on; please don't take advantage of this and be weird, I don't want to have to turn them off.

If you make fanwork/write meta/etc, please feel free to either ping me directly here with the @ system, or tag your post "xfactor2024" so I can find it in that tag.
