The redhead stared at the seraph through the bars with pain in her eyes. He was the reason she had been brought back to Heaven for punishment. Sitting up straight, she folded her hands tightly on her lap. âCastielâŠâÂ
Castiel could feel the pain from the angel as she looked at him. He knew he had wronged her. He regretted doing so every day. He repeated to himself over and over that he was just following orders, being a good soldier, but deep down, he knew he was wrong. That what he did was wrong. He flinched slightly when she spoke, his own guilt causing him to do so and shuffled where he stood.   âHello Anna.â

OMFG bae stop! Thank you though. Seriously that means the world to me.

Meg stood up straight, looking him in the eyes.  She wouldnât pull punches yet at the same time she knew it would hurt to harm him, but she knew that they were now forever locked in a battle of hate.  No matter what their.. species said, to her he wasnât a monster.  He was a good man and she knew it.  But she wasnât good enough for him, she was a pawn in a game and she came out on top, becoming the Queen assured she wouldnât be killed at least not by someone who hated her.  âAs a part of me will always love you Castiel.â  She bit her lip.  âSo I take it this is your announcement of War?â
The angel gave a nod to her assumption. As much as he didn't want this to be, as much as he didn't want to cause her any harm, he could see something inside of her had changed. He could see that she wasn't the same Meg he had fallen in love with. The angel shifted his weight and swallows down hard.   âI suppose so.â
//Just wanted to drop a line saying your graphic design work for your promo is gorgeous. Great work on the colors and font!
Thank you so much! That really means a lot to me.

âName the time and place, Cas.â Dean smirked.
âLast time I chose the time and location I got lectured for a mess being made in your precious car. Perhaps it is you who should be choosing the time and location.â

She felt sick, she wasnât sure if it was from the teleporting, or if it was from just losing Dean, but in that moment, she held onto Cas tightly.  Amy wasnât sure how they were going to to explain this to Mary so nodding softly, she answered him.  âPlease Cas.. do what must be done.â  Amy stomach was in knots and she really didnât know how she was going to explain it to her.  She nodded softly, moving to kneel down, looking up at her, and then at Sam.  Noticing the gaze he held he must have known something was up.  He had to have known that Dean was gone, but still didnât say anything.
Amy waited at the bottom of the stairs for her little girl.  Her arms were wide open, waiting to welcome her daughter into them.  To feel the warm embrace of herâs and Deanâs daughter, and know that even though Dean was gone, she was not completely lost.  Not like before..  She would have her little girl to fight for now.  âYes.. Iâm home baby girl.â  She swallowed hard as Mary ran into her arms and hugged her tightly.
Castiel nodded to Amy as the small child came bounding down the stairs. His eyes went to Sam who followed from behind. When he didn't see Dean looked to Castiel, who simply shook his head, giving him the silent communication he would need to know that Dean didn't make it. Sam knew about the deal, he knew it was a matter of time. That Dean was living on borrowed time as it was. He tried to stay strong but the angel could see the tears threatening to fall. He wanted nothing more than to take the pain of this family away from them and take it all upon himself. He watched Sam step aside from Mary, away from her view so he could get himself under control. That was when Mary spoke up.   âWhere's Daddy?â She asked lookin around for Dean.
Castiel knelt down in front of her, next to Amy and raised his hand his index and middle finger pointed out and pressed them against the little girls forehead. She blinked once and the confusion was gone. She looked at Amy and Castiel sighed.   âGo ahead Amelia. She won't feel any pain about this.â Sam looked at what was happening in confusion.

Meg looked at Castiel, in a way her heart broke for them.  Now they were eternally stuck on opposite sides, no way of turning back, past the point of no return.  Even if she wanted to, her soul was already as black as her eyes.  If anyone had known the real reason why, perhaps they could understand.  This was her sacrifice, but they would never know.  It was a blade through her heart though and  a pain that would never go away.  She gave into her darkness, let it consume her fully.  âYes I do Castiel, but you couldnât gank me then.. your lips may speak the words, they may show their disgust, but your eyes still show the truth, you are in love with me.â  The words hurt her, stabbed her to the very core.  She had lost her self in the thoughts of saving him, and landed herself in Hell.
Meg wasn't wrong. Yes he was an angel of the Lord, a soldier of heaven, but there would always be a part of him that would love the demon he faced currently. Though that demon was gone, Meg had changed so much in the time since they last met. He squinted his eyes, feeling the jab of the painful words she spoke. He would have to be strong, and not let her get the better of him. Something told him that she wouldn't be pulling her punches, that she wouldn't stop until she had killed him, or worse.   âIt's true. There is a part of me, that will always love you. But I will do what I must.,b>â

âHello ClarenceâŠ.â  Meg stepped from the darkness, she felt full of power.  A shadow of black wings following on the ground.  Lucifer had passed his crown to her, his precious Meg, was now the Queen of Hell.  She kept her eyes on Castiel, seeing the Angel again after having taken Luciferâs crown willingly and therefore the throne of Hell, it felt almost like home for a moment, but then she remembered, he was an angel and she a demon, there would never be a way for them now.
When Castiel laid eyes on the demon he loved he couldn't help but lower his gaze. Her new status of 'Queen of Hell' meant that they would forever be battling with one another. There was little they could do, it was simply in their nature. He looked at the ground for a moment.   âMeg.â Eventually he looked up to see her. He knew this wouldn't be easy. That he shouldn't have come. Now getting out of here would prove to be nearly impossible. But he needed to see for himself what had become of her.   âI see the rumors are true. That you've assumed the throne of Hell. You know what this means I'm sure.â His last words were almost pained as he spoke them.

âI donât want to completely deny her the right to feel.  But if you can in any way, ease her pain,  I allow it.â  Mary was so much like Dean, brave, strong and full of a caring nature.  Try as Dean might he could never hide how much he care from those who truly knew him.  He was a man who was willing to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders and act like it didnât bother him to do it.  Amy could see the look in Deanâs eyes, she knew of the responsibilities he felt.  She told herself that she would find a way to end the worlds darkness before Mary became one of them, a hunter.
This was a painful time.  âWe should probably call Sam, Iâm sure he has a least felt something off.  And if they were coming after us.. if they knew that Dean was coming.. whoâs to say that Sam and Mary wonât be next.â  She shook her head.  âI know Crowley promised Dean she wouldnât be hurt, but I wouldnât put it past that slimy snake to do something about it now that Dean is out of the picture.â  She kept her eyes on Cas.  âCas.. take me home to MaryâŠplease..â
Castiel shook his head. Crowley was a lot of things, but being a crossroads demon prevented him from going back on his word. He promised Mary would be safe, and that was what she would continue to be.   âCrowley's a crossroads demon. It prevents him from going back on a contract. Dean's payment for her safety has been fulfilled There's not going back on it now. Mary will be safe.â He looked at Amy and nodded, they needed to tell Sam what had happened. He knew Sam would want to find a way to bring Dean back, but he was afraid there would be no way of bringing him back this time. Not even if Castiel went back into hell himself to pull him out again.
The angel heard the request, the need for something familiar and calming in the home Dean had aquired for Amy and Mary and he nodded. That was going to be the best place for her to be right now. He approached her and wrapped her in his arms, taking a breath before teleporting them to the familiar home of the Winchesters. He had been here many times, visiting when they weren't hunting. Attending Mary's birthday party. This place was a happy, comforting place. Now it only reminded him of Dean, all the things he wanted to provide Mary and Amy with. His attention perked up when he heard the sound of footsteps upstairs, and Mary and Sam coming down the stairs.   âMommy! Daddy! You're home!â Castiel looked at the young girl and knew this would be hard for Amy.   âAmelia. I can still make this completely painless for her.â

âI never said I didnât want you here Castiel.. but.. how could you.. couldnât you have just taken him first..â  She shook her head.  âMy life⊠while important.. should have been over a long time ago.  I vowed to always have his back.. and Iâve failed him.â  she leaned against the wall, face first.  âI.. I am a horrible wife.â  She shook her head, tears still falling.  âHe did this.. he offered up his soul that we could have our daughter.  He knew that this would come one day.â  She shook her head.  âDean..â  She looked down at the floor, tears dripped from her cheeks and she tried to wipe them away.
âCastielâŠâ  Amy spoke softly already feeling the sting of loss hitting her hard.  âWhat am I going to tell Mary?  How are we going to tell Sam?â  She bit her lip.  She had no clue what to tell her family, how she was going to explain that Dean.. the very backbone that kept this family together, had given up his life.  âSam might already be prepared for this.. but Mary.. she has no idea what death is like.. â  She bit her lip harder.  âCan you.. Can you please be there with me.. when I have to tell her?â  Amy looked up at him, tear filled eyes, bright red tear streaks down her pale cheeks.  Her eyes fixed on Castielâs.
Castiel looked up at Amy when she spoke. She was right, explaining to Sam wouldn't be terribly difficult, but Mary, Mary wouldn't know what to think. She would be heart broken. She would be angry, children didn't understand things like adults did. They were far more emotional. But their minds, their minds were something amazing, more open to things an adults mind would not be. Explaining to her would be difficult, but Castiel, he could hope that he would perhaps be able to calm her mind when it happened.
The Angel nodded when she asked if he would be with her when she told Mary. He wouldn't leave her alone unless she wanted him to. He nodded.   âOf course.â He said with a soft sincere tone.   âAmelia. I could use my grace, to calm her mind. She won't feel pain when you tell her about her father.â He paused and looked at her. Seeing her sad, in pain like this, it wasn't something he ever wished on her. He missed her smile.   âI won't leave you alone unless you want me gone Amelia. You have my word.â

The knife went plunging into Castielâs chest. He looked down at the knife and then back at the stranger who looked exactly like his vessel. His eyes squinted as he tilted his head.   âMere mortal weapons cannot harm me. How is it that you look like my vessel?â he looked around him before back at the other.   âWhat strange plain is this?â
@never-meant-to-fall
As soon as he had spotted the man, it had been a natural instinct for Cas. After all, what else could this thing be other than a shapeshifter of sorts. He had felt sure in himself when the knife plunged into the imposterâs chest, effectively wounding himâŠor so he thought.
Eyes widening, Cas quickly took a step back as the other man spoke, instantly reaching for his gun. He steadied his arms to point right at the otherâs forehead and glared at his double. âWhat are you?â, he demanded, cocking the pistol. What was this thing and what was it going on about a vessel?
Confusion set into the angel. Something was wrong here. He squinted his eyes and tilted his head as the man pointed the gun at him. When he asked what he was he wasn't sure how to respond at first.   âMy name is Castiel. I'm an angel of the Lord. And what may I ask are you?â His eyes looked quizzingly at the other. This couldn't possibly be happening, he new Jimmy didn't have a twin.
