Our intentions were to stay at the Shaolin temple for the week learning kungfu and tai chi, but unfortunately I got sick and we couldn't stay. @p3ac3fulfor3st was killing it at tai chi, though.

Next stop, WuWeiSi--a Shaolin Temple. Wouldn't you know our didi got stuck onthe way up the mountain, but we finally got there. The girls' dorm was full when we arrived, so they put us up in the library/classroom for the night.
The trip to Dali started out strange and just got stranger. First, our six am didi (Chinese equivalent to Uber/Lyft) got a flat tire, but our drive was a pro and got it changed in five minutes and we made it to the train station with plenty of time. Several hours later, we arrived at our hostel, The Jade Emu, for the night.
More flowers!
Spring has sprung. Also, happy Chinese New Year!
