Rehab had been rough on Lucas at the beginning, but toward the end, he was feeling better, like he was making a new start, like for once he actually had the chance to be a better person. His mom had picked him up, he was staying with her, but the first thing Lucas wanted to do once he had settled down back at home was to go see his sister. He stepped in front of the front door of Sky's house and knocked on the door, probably his first time knocking on that door sober and without a hangover.

the blonde was reading on the couch, a warm cup of coffee in her hands. she was enjoying her free afternoon when she heard a knock at the door. she checked the time—it wasn’t romeo; he was supposed to be at work. she hadn’t planned to meet anyone. she got up and opened the door, and there he was—her brother. "lucas!" was all she managed to say before rushing to hug him. "i’ve missed you so much," she said, holding him tightly. "how are you?"
"I'm doing great my dear little pumpkin" He said playfully and patted her head teasingly when he pulled away from a great long tight hug. "I just busted out of jail and need a place to hide" he kept on joking, giving her a friendly wink.
