I want to live before I die. It’s the only thing that makes sense.

bree-aldridge:
Indecisiveness and Bree were synonymous at this point. She’d spent a good fifteen minutes debating which coffee she wanted. Her brows knitted together, eyes running over the selection of different of drinks again and again as she tried to find the perfect mixture. Nothing was standing out to her though. “This is impossible.” Bree muttered to herself, running a hand through her hair. She read the list again before rolling her eyes and releasing a frustrated groan. “What do you usually go for?” She asked, turning to the person standing next to her in the busy cafe.
People cared too much. Amelia had noticed it plenty times over the year, and she was seeing it right in front of her in this very moment. To waste so much time trying to pick something out that would be gone in less than an hour always sort of boggled her mind - but perhaps choices were just.. difficult for others. It would be easier to just eliminate the choices all together, as she so often did. “Just... you know, close your eyes,” she instructed, giving advice as to what she actually does whenever visiting somewhere new. “When you open them, pick the first thing they land on.”
oliviamonroex:
While most of the time planning events came easy to her, there were times when Olivia felt herself stressing out about an event, usually when making calls to suppliers who didn’t seem to know what they were doing. “I need it by Monday. Do not make me phone again.” Ending the call, she placed her phone face down and it was only then she noticed the figure by her table and she shot them a weary smile. “Feel free to take a seat, I only bite when people make my job harder.”
Amelia was never a huge fan of these moments. When people came into the bakery to test cakes (usually for weddings), that was entirely different. They were happy, and more importantly, they came to her. When her boss sent her off, that was a whole other story. Not only did it mean having to go to the office of someone else, but it often meant interrupting something - such as right now. Well, whatever. She shrugged it off, setting the box down in front of the girl in question before sitting opposite her. “Suppose it’s good timing for cake then, right? There’s 5 different flavours in there, and they can be made into cupcakes as well - pretty flexible on whatever it is you or...your client wants.”
ashaldridge:
“Those pants do not go with that top,” he commented, eyeing the person up and down as he sipped his drink.
Glancing down at her outfit, Amelia remained quiet for a moment as she surveyed what exactly was on her body. It was pretty typical for her, clothing-wise; a flannel, jacket, shorts, tights, and boots. A bit too much, maybe, by the standards of others (especially in this city) but they were her staples. “Probably not, but I’m comfortable as hell so it seems like you’re either going to have to deal with it or pretend to have never met me,” she teased before finally sitting down.
Amelia Harrison ; “I’m restless. Things are calling me away. My hair is being pulled by the stars again.”
