When the door to the farmhouse opened, Piotr expected to see a human come charging out into the snow yet it seemed Kieran still found comfort in his canine form. The Russian man would not complain though, happy to see the younger male no matter what form he took. It was easy to brace for the sudden impact of the canine’s body against his own although, for a moment there, Piotr was afraid that he would fall back into the cold snow that completely covered the ground. Despite his heavy layers of clothing it was not a welcome activity, the Russian sadly having to push Kieran away from him so that they would not topple over.
But… then again… Piotr was more than strong enough to pick up the other mutant. His free arm curled around the dog’s body and tucked it at the side of his body, other beefy limb keeping hold of the bag he had brought from the next town over. No sense in going out and not buying the things he could not supply himself with.
“Let us go indoors, comrade,” Piotr smiled, trudging through the snow and making sure Kieran did not need to walk on the freezing surface. “I feel the need to rest my head.”
Kieran let out a yelp of delight as he was lifted from the snow. His tail wagged in the other’s grip as he shifted a little, making himself a little smaller and easier for the mutant to be carry him. He let out another bark as he could smell something of interest in the mutant’s bag. Kieran squirmed his way free and bounced over to the door, running inside and over to the fire making sure it was still lit and warm.
He then leapt up onto the couch and sat, looking for the big mutant to come in and just cuddle with him on the couch. He’d probably shift human at some point but he wanted the other to be warm and his fur and the fire would certainly do that.
