Three years ago we both went to the same listening party, met out on the balcony to talk and our lives were forever changed.
It was just happenstance I was even invited. I met Somi really at the Nike event. We both talked about music, speaking English, and next thing I knew I was promising to go to her listening party. It was the best decision I could have made.
I still remember how nervous and excited I was to talk to you. We bonded over being the leaders of our groups, of being the middle child and then once I got your number I couldn't help but text you and was very happy to be invited to your listening party.
Now we are three years and have rarely been apart since that night. We went from lunch visits and texting, to dating, and then engaged and married and now engaged again. We've bought houses, been on trips, and navigated military service in a way few do. I'm so happy to have you on tour with me, and every day is wonderful.
Three years ago, I was so focused on my solo debut and working, that I never imagined that going to a listening party would change my life. After that night, I just couldn't get you out of my mind, and after a few days, I couldn't imagine not talking to you at all.
We just clicked right away, it was fun and made sense. We could talk about everything, we had lunch dates at your studio and my apartment, and even if we're both were busy, we made it work.
I met my soulmate that night, and my life has been brighter and better because of it. I love you, we have built a wonderful life together, and now we're engaged again. I can't wait to be your wife for a second time, officially and legally in our own country.
