welcome to the world of expensive chocolates and diamond necklaces. valentine’s day on the upper east side of manhattan is no small affair. but if you haven’t got someone waiting for you on your doorstep, don’t retreat to your room with takeout just yet. i can be your valentine, and my gift comes in the form of the latest gossip.

we always thought that little kota worthington was so far removed from their family’s politics and scheming, but who would have thought that they’re deeply entrenched in it? that’s right, their father’s mistress is poised to take over the entire company from kota’s father and kota gave them all the ammo to do so. guess it’s true; little kota really cares nothing for the worthington family name. sounds like someone’s going to be left off the will.

if you thought that was a lesson in being careful who you trust, then you haven’t heard the half of it. dependable felix lockwood might not be quite so after all. felix’s semester in italy was full of fun and games, but these photos reveal he fell in love. however, sources say that felix dipped the second he figured out his true love might be pregnant. so much for a happily ever after.

speaking of adventures overseas, turns out that evangeline coombs isn’t running that flower shop in brooklyn solely for the aroma. no, she’s got something much darker on her mind: revenge. turns out that kenny durand won her heart and slept with her, all under the guise of a dare. to make matters worse, a pretty raunchy sex tape was made from the whole affair. nothing burns hotter than a woman scorned, but who can blame her after the way kenny treated her like a consolation prize? maybe it’s time to run for the hills, k.

seems like everyone's coupling up in time for valentine's day. what's your read on who is going to make it and who is destined for a breakup?

it’s the same old song and dance every year, take a look around. who was together last year that’s still together this year? pretty simple math should tell you that we’re not looking at anything long term. but if you want to know my real opinion, gus and ana might have a chance. as for seb and hannah? i’m waiting for another fallout. not that it means much when we all know they’ll be back together a week after. what’s new, upper east siders?

hello, upper east siders...

as usual, the charity gala becomes less about the historical society and more about the history between lovers. but don’t close your textbooks just yet; history may be doomed to repeat itself, and if it does, it’ll leave a trail of broken hearts in it’s wake.

hannah and sebastian were seen returning together after his stint out of the city. it seems all has been forgiven for his mysterious disappearance, but maybe not all has been forgotten. seb was spotted in a heated argument with viv van buren – and we’re left wondering what it was all about. maybe that’s why nikolai and sebastian weren’t spotted together all night. maybe there’s a little trouble in paradise with our happy, engaged trouble. a baby can’t be the only thing on the way.

tate van buren was seen arriving to the party with federico greco, newly single and back on the market. and back off the market just as quickly – the two were seen disappearing into a coat closet minutes into the party. wonder what margot vanderbilt thinks of that? we don’t. she was seen completely wasted not even an hour into the event. not to mention she was seen arguing with cami newhouse – isn’t that catfight pretty much obsolete at this point?

speaking of sneaky hookups, marley and damon were spotted getting down and dirty in a hallway. that sort of exhibitionism is downright illegal, but they didn’t seem to have any shame about it. seems like little redd’s finally met his big bad wolf.

natalie tate was seen looking down and out for most of the night – we’d blame it on kenny’s mysterious absence but she truly looked downright ill. send your tips if you know anything about nat’s mysterious illness.
