I discovered two things this past week: studying is productive downstairs at the front table, and there is an indoor mall just down Westwood Blvd that reminds me of home.

One of the Six Flags rides had the added panicked experience of making you feel like you were stranded on a jungle island while waiting in line...

Got my dose of roller coasters at this Saturday's Six Flags sisterhood. I wish I had taken a video of this one little girl who stood on the bridge on top of a water ride, not expecting to get drenched by a wall of water when the ride went by.

My day was great; it started with my Uber driver playing Abba CD's and ended with a $2-Jamba-promotion at Universal City Walk!

At my internship, finding and color correcting images of celebrities while Classic Rock Pandora plays in the background.

Finding a good picture of Kylie with her “new lips” has been the task of the day.

If you think about it, I did nothing to make our baby. It's like my girlfriend crafted a 12 tier cake and I lent her half a cup of sugar for it, and then when it was done I said 'This is half my cake'.

les beaux jours (2013)

Spent my Wednesday at the beach! Coincidentally the Farmers Market is in Santa Monica on Wednesdays too, so I bought (accidentally the most expensive) strawbs and joined the birds on the sand, looking out to the ocean.

After picking some shells and finishing my basket of strawberries I went to see a French film - Les Beaux Jours (Bright Days Ahead). I was accompanied by a few scattered old people in the theater, and after the movie was over I pretended like I was in France. My peaceful disillusion lasted until I got on the bus back home, on which I overheard a conversation between two ninth graders:

"U shud break up wit him.."

"I want to, but I havn't see him. He's nvr at school!"

"My rule is that I don't break up w a grl over text unless I absolutely have to. Like my girlfriend now - I haven't seen her for two weeks!"
