I blog because I can....
It's 2:18 am as I start this post. I just had a nice long conversation with my friend. (SN:before it pops in to your mind.... my friend is just a friend and conversation is not code for sex even thought it was a late night conversation.) Anyways. Lately I have been fascinated with relationships, but specifically relationships between men and women.
This was the topic of the great late night conversation. Can men and women just be friends?
So my friend is a male. We have been friends since high school. We have flirted... we have kissed... but we kept it as friends... not friends with benefits. We have kept in contact from high school until now. I'm in my 30's... so you can do the math. We have been friends for a very long time.
We talk about everything and anything. This is the only guy friend I have who is like this. Now please keep in mind I do have other male friends. However, my male friends are either engaged or married. The ones that are still single have a hidden agenda.

Just wanted to post a time update and how my brain will not shut off. So back to the whole relationships thing. I think about what my friend and I have and how our love transcends that of normal love but not an "I want to be with you" type of love. The whole idea seems weird. It doesn't bother me, but I somehow feel like it is wrong. So if it feels wrong.. is it wrong? Or do I want to it to be wrong in order to justify whatever this is.
I think I will figure this out more later... after a bit of sleep.
To blog or not to blog...
I basically started this blog as a way for me to vent as my online journal. I didn't think anyone would read it ... and if they did.. no one would really care. As I have suspected... I don't think anyone reads this. Do people still use tumblr?
While that is neither here nor there, I will continue to write my little heart out. These days I'm in a conundrum of sorts with work. While I like work and I like what I do, there is unfortunately an uncertainty as to where things are headed for the company I work for. The question is then... do I bail or stay? I feel like staying is the right thing to do and see what happens BUT keep the options open. I started to then think about all the cool jobs that people have and wonder "how did you get that job?" Apparently they have people test mattresses... where do I sign up? I'm 30 something years old... and I feel like I'm still floundering like a college student... with kids. Do people still go out and find something they love to do rather than do something they are good at? What is everyone out there doing?
Ok so maybe I'm not so good at this..
Yeah I'm horrible at keeping up with a blog. My Weightloss has been ok... 10lbs lost!!! On another note... I have come to realize more and more day by day that everyone I know is getting married . All the guys I have dated are now married. Now I know what you are thinking... That's normal. Well I feel more and more like 'Good Luck Chuck' bc the girls they date after me are the ones they are marrying. It really is depressing. I know no one is actually reading this... But I want to know when it is my turn. Ugh... I will continue this later.... Even though no one is reading this.
I ache in places I didn't know existed...
So Day 2 of my workout.... I am sore in places I didn't know existed. YOGA is not for the weak. I never realized how non-flexible I have become as I have gotten older. The phrase "I'm not as young as I use to be" is truly resonating with me these days. However, I am having fun working out with the kids and I can feel my body getting use to working out again. It will be a long hard road, but the end result will be worth it. I have a great support system which is keeping me motivated. What helps you get through the aches and pains?
