he said "u up?" but Dostoevsky said,
"… she tortures me, tortures me with her love… In the past it was only that infernal body of hers that tortured me, but now I've taken all her soul into my soul and through her I've become a man."

St. Haralambos the Fool-for-Christ lived in the modern world like an ancient ascetic. From 1924 until 1974, he could be found walking around Greece wearing rags because God told him clothes were costumes. He also said God wanted people to think he was crazy because "God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the mighty".
Haralambos preached about the dreadful end of the world while joyfully dancing in the streets. He was always barefoot, no matter the weather. Though he was homeless himself, he begged for food he'd give away to the needy. His strange behavior caused people to beat him. But supernatural consequences followed his persecutors. Nazi soldiers even shot at Haralambos when he refused to obey them. But the bullets just bounced off him. On occasion, he emitted an otherworldly Light.
As the world becomes increasingly complex and insane, we should be content to become simpletons, to be called mad by a mad world. This is a badge of honor!
i fully realize im about a 3-4 on the attractiveness scale. as a woman i feel kind of doomed. i dont want to live in society with an ugly face. i feel worthless in the eyes of society because im not beautiful. i dont have a remarkable personality either. im an unfortunate combination of ugly and boring.
