I don’t really post things on here much at all - much less personal stuff, but I really wanted to kind of go out of my way to show how proud I am of this girl. Not only this girl, but my relationship with this girl. She means the absolute world to me and being able to spend today with her along with the last handful of days, has been nothing short of a dream that I never want to wake up from, so @fadedisasters, I want you to know that I love you. More than words. I’m so proud of who you are, and the fact that I get to call you mine. Nothing has ever made this much sense to me. Nothing could ever feel right without you again. I have spent almost 8 months, getting to call you mine. 8 months of learning you. Of loving you. and every day, those reasons double. Every day those reasons become clearer. Ashton’s shaky fingers ran back and forth across the length of the crib he had built from scratch, exhaling deeply. Two years. Two years and everything had changed dramatically for the two of them. He had decided that this year, he would take it upon himself to finish the baby’s room. He had restricted the girl from entering those four walls until he decided he was done. The walls were painted and the shelves were hung. A floor to ceiling length castle was painted along the wall behind the crib, and he felt pride surge though his veins as his eyes took everything in. He had hand made all of the furniture and left the shelves open, in an effort to allow Lila to pick any amount of books, or nick-nacks for their little one. His teeth to and fro on the curve of his lesser lip as he finally stepped from the room ad wrapped his fingers around her wrist upon finding her. “Are you ready for your surprise, birthday girl?”
