Oh and today my guild master for AFK Arena was dethroned by the system and I was appointed as the new guild master. I reacted like "ahhhhhh no. I'm just the exemplar." So I went and tracked her down on Insta. Yea, we are friends outside of the game too. Also her country and time zone are different too, so i had to ask if it was a good time to talk. Anyway, i asked her if she made me Guild Master and she was like No. Must've been the game's fault. And I was all like well I don't lead. I follow. And she laughed and we went and got her back on the throne. Apparently after a certain amount of time of inactivity passes the game will make the next in line the master. I didn't know I was next in line, but I'm grateful for that system. There's five other members that could have been appointed other than myself. Idk if they would've done what i did but I will fulfill my role as a temp until the real one comes back. If ever.

If I think about it tho, if she had said nah she don't want to play the game anymore.. idk if I would've stuck around as guild master. I've been a GM of my own guild before but that didn't work out. After disbanding for another guild, and that one not working out was when she had reached out asking if I wanted to join hers. I was like, alright. I was only like 600 servers before hers, and incredibly overpowered, but I was alright with being the big help. Over the years our guild rose to over 60 members who play constantly (there were many who quit). But it wasn't my doing that got it there. Sure I was one of the giants who helped, but she herself did most of the work recruiting and seeing that our needs in the guild were met. We even have a discord. So if she quits for good.. I would hesitate accepting the title, sure, and probably have a guild-wide vote for who wants to actually be the GM. I'm more than positive that over half of us are united because she called us to be there. A sudden turn in being the GM probably isn't going to sit well with most of us. It'll be tricky coming up with the right thing to do. We're all actually important. Sounds weird to say, but some of us have been together for a good minute. Like years.

Kind of weird thinking that it could end one day. Like when Disney killed Club Penguin. Or when 343 Industries shut down Halo 3 for Xbox 360. Or Microsoft hindering Xbox 360 from having an update so you can never get back online to play with your friends.. unless you buy an Xbox One. Same thing here. One day Lilith might just say "Meh. AFK Arena just isn't like the good old days, let's pack everything up and move on with our lives." And for the players who are stuck around its like "Hey wait! We're here too, why does it have to end like this?! AFK is still better than Dislyte!! Lmao" but no really. I tried Dislyte and I Dislike. AFK is where it's at 👍

Anyway, those are just my thoughts being blogged on the matter. Sharing is caring, and these thoughts do bring up thought provoking questions sometimes.

The Jaws Theme song (or Main Title) by John Williams is perfect and amazing. Not only does it reel you in, it's also fun and flawless in execution. Also I'm trying to learn it. Got the left hand down, now I just need to put it all together with my right and then I'll be jubilantly tearing it up! But the right is tricky, so it might take me a week for my brain to align correctly on this agenda. Or a month. Or a year. Either way, the neighbors are gonna be knocking to ask why don't I try learning a different song; they're tired of waiting for the shark.

Also the videogame music I've been looking into includes some old school final fantasy pieces, legend of dragoon, and metal gear solid (the first metal gear solid). I've been looking for actual piano-like pieces; not just synths. I checked out all of the Legacy of Kain: Soulreaver osts but didn't find any actual piano like pieces I could play (there are an abundance of synths I can try replicating tho, but I already know how to make ominously evil music on the keyboard. I'll eventually look into seeing how that was done because the music from Soulreaver is beautiful anyway).

Anyway, in the coming days I'm going to attempt learning Path of Repentance, Hopeless Desire, To Zanarkand, and Auron's Theme from FFX, Memory of Lightwaves by Eternity from FFX-2, Enclosure from MGS, If You Still Believe and Shana's Theme from LoD, Primal Eyes and the Ending Theme from Parasite Eve (lot of good pieces in P.E, I'm just listing those for now; the game's osts are worth every bit of talent to play), and Great Fairy's Fountain from Zelda.

Tbh, I'm going to try learning all of the soundtracks with keyboard elements from the games listed above (like Silence Before the Storm from FFX or whatever), just going to note that the ones mentioned above will have more priority. There's around 50 more songs from these games that I will be learning, and those were the ones that I recognized notable keyboard elements in. I'll have to do some more research into the matter. If I'm ever about and someone asks me to play a song from one of these games, I don't want to respond with an apology. I want to play what I can possibly play with the keyboard I have.

Oh and I need to learn how to rap too. I learned songs like Money by Cardi B, Savage by Megan Thee Stallion, and Rocking a Cardigan in Atlanta by Lil Shordie Scott on the keyboard (which were ridiculously easy), but I don't know how to rap. If I can rap the lyrics over what I've been playing then I'll consider it as an accomplishment. So far my speech slurs and my hands stop moving. Plus, I lose focus. Practice makes perfect, and I must practice a lot before it even gets close to being perfect.

I recently got a keyboard. It's a Williams Allegro 3, and it's so nice. I love my new keyboard; been digging into what I can try learning, including pop songs, video game music, old classic rock songs, and classical instrumentals. Today I've had a song stuck in my head all day that I've been trying to learn for a few days called Can We Still Be Friends by Todd Rundgren. Love this song, so very good. The chords are easy too, I think ima try singing the song as I play next time.

I love music. Particularly metal. I love me some fast paced, headbanging metal jams that I can lose my shit to. But here lately I've been on random side quests to check out jams that may have influenced the metal giants in this day and age. I saw a drum solo by Karen Carpenter the other day. It was nothing short of spectacular, she fucking killed that shit. Anyway, I then look to read more about her and she's been dead for years! Heart attack that may have been due to her anorexia nervosa. She only weighed 108 lbs at the time of her death. Wtf. And then I've been listening to 25 or 6 to 4 by Chicago and that song fucking rocks! I've been trying to play it myself on the guitar (I got the drums down the other day). I checked out the live performance (YouTube has the one from back in 1970 at Tanglewood) and Terry Kath is phenomenal with that guitar! I mean, everyone was killing it, drums, keyboard, but damn that was a terrific guitar solo, and I love guitar solos. So I look this guy up and yup. He's been dead too, died back in 1978 from accidentally shooting himself in the head with a 9mm. He didn't think it was loaded. Thought I'd blog about this because I've heard many names before but nobody really talks about these 2. They had massive talent. And it fucking blows that I grew up with parents that listened to the music, but never really played enough of it, and I never really knew what it was for 20 years cause the 80s had some monsters like Ozzy and Van Halen and that had overshadowed Chicago and The Carpenters (I mean yea, it was gonna happen, the 80s have many of my favorite bands because they're fucking good shit) and I got more in touch with Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and Judas Priest cause they're the progenitors for what was to become Metal. Anyway, I feel that the old bands are horribly under appreciated in today's time. I'll probably get like minded individuals such as myself and do metal covers of their songs in the style of today's metal scene (or maybe not, I think there's great potential in taking that music and redefining the sound; today's metal scene needs something new).

HBO Max is great and all, but when my Rick and Morty says to stay tuned after the show to watch bonus content but it cuts it out anyway to go to the next episode... well. I'll just complain about it here. Maybe someone will see and tell me it's gonna be okay, even tho there is no way to go back and see that bonus content. Thanks for the automatic skip HBO Max. I'm in Padré!!!!

Been working a bunch.. moved to a new place last week and I still have boxes unpacked. Got the internet set up but still have to change the address on the driver's license, the mail and bunch of other junk like insurance and whatever.. but at least ima hit up Padre!!! Gonna be in Padre y'all, with the wifey and our friend from work, yea that's gonna make all the worries melt away at least for 3 days.. ⛱️🌞🌴

Got a used Nissan Altima for the wifey about a week ago, and it may have been a bad investment.. I thought dealerships wouldn't dare sell bad cars because they literally live on reputation, but I guess some do and try to play it off like it's computer issues in the car. At least repairs will be on the house, but it's gonna be another few days before we have a car that should drive like it should

Was watching a VTuber on Reality talking and she started talking about the new Attack on Titan episode and I was all like WHATTT, and my wife overheard and said "everyone knows, you're like the only one who doesn't know" and I madly scrambled to get that episode to play on the big screen and here we are about to watch Episode 76 - Judgement!!! This is what I live for!!!

Must awaken at 6:30 AM to take me wifey to get her a rental so she can drive to work.. so yea it's 2 AM and I don't feel the sleep just yet. I thought I had it earlier, but it was just a false alarm. So two random super powers I'd have are binding objects and nutrition manipulation. As an INTJ I won't be telling just how I'd use those two nifty powers, but in all honesty it probably wouldn't be as inventive as you'd think it'd be. Unless you're a fellow INTJ, then by all means just try to guess how I'd use said powers. If you're an ENTP just turn away. You're not needed here (footnote: my wife is an ENTP, and she's drilling me with ideas.. she got the ability to concentrate energy in any part of her body and the ability to turn objects including living matter into reptiles.. wow).
