[TS4] [ Conversion ] Doomsday Prophesy

A Twilight’s Hammer conversion set, from World of Warcraft.

Twilight’s Hammer are\were a doomsday cult that worshiped the Old Gods (think Lovecraftian creatures) and elementals, and the dragon Deathwing. A less acknowledged fact is that they had that aesthetic down. 

Disclaimer: don’t join cults, kids.

My first conversion from WoW and also the first time I worked with objects (I realize this is posted after I posted pics and a download of some SWTOR items, but these were worked on before I converted the holocrons).

Features, where is can be found, etc

All objects:

Meshes from World of Warcraft

Original textures from WoW, in places heavily edited by me

Custom or blank specular and normal maps

All can be searched by typing “Void”, “World of Wacraft”, “Twilight’s Hammer” in the search bar.

Base-game-compatible

They all only have 1 swatch each, with original colors from the game, so feel free to recolor.

Known issues (with unknown solutions):

The wings part of the wings banner is only visible from the front and doesn’t show up in the shadow, so its best placed in front of a wall.

Sims and things might clip through the dragon heads on the sides of the altar due to its shape.

Some objects might exhibit weird shine (sorry i’m not super experienced with objects yet!)

you might hear voices of the Old Gods.

This is the first part of my Early Civilisaton CC (created for the History Challenge), which includes several decorative objects. If you’d like to read more about the use of textiles in Roman domestic spaces, this article is a great read! Obviously there are very few surviving textiles from this period, so I had to improvise a little bit. Most fabrics/patterns I used were Ottoman in origin. The rugs especially are pretty inaccurate, but I suppose you can use them for various eras of the History Challenge!

A little tip for placing the cushions and blankets at chair or bed height: activate MOO and place a random shelf at the desired height, place the cushion/blanket on top of the shelf, then drag it to the chair, sofa, bed or any other surface you want to place it on!
