dumb shit i keep thinking about because i’m a fuckup for these two for the foreseeable future apparently
- hank has an old ear piercing that he doesn’t wear the earring in anymore, but the hole’s still there. he tugs at the spot on his ear sometimes, when he’s thinking or distracted. connor gets stuck staring at this motion, sometimes. he also starts doing it, after he and hank get together. hank thinks it’s obviously fucking weird at first but, like with everything else with connor, he gets used to it and likes it anyway
- they get another dog, of course. a poodle, obviously–a standard, there aren’t any small dogs allowed in the anderson household, at least, if they’re gonna get a fuckin’ poodle, which they do, hank brought that one on himself before he even knew what was going on. she’s gray. her name is pearl. her collar is pink and her tag has a big darker pink p on it, of course. she’s a big pretty girl and she’s a fucking prep in dog form 100%
connor teaches her every trick ever and they go to agility classes and they compete together in a bunch of shit. she wins awards. they put them up on the living room walls at home. hank gets a “my dog is smarter than your honor student” bumper sticker to add to his collection. she of course adores sumo. when she’s a pup she clambers all over him and chews on his ears and he’s such a good boy with her. hank and connor hold hands when they walk the doggies in the park.
- connor discovers, much to his chagrin at hank’s lack of care regarding cyber security, that all of hank’s passwords are “fuckingpassword”. he bitches about it and hank starts using connor’s full number as a password too, in addition to fuckingpassword, which remains his go-to
- i like to think that since hank still has his fuckin old-ass car and it still runs that he has some at least basic mechanic skills. i like to think that he likes that shit, he likes engines and motors and wires and cords and cables. the physical parts of machines, even if he claims to not get the programming parts. i like to think he’d be fascinated by connor’s inner workings. i like to think he would learn how to perform at least basic repairs on connor, and wear little reading glasses while doing them.
