     It still takes him by surprise, moments like these where she reaches out for him, where she initiates the contact between them, and eyes widen just a bit as she presses her lips against his own.

     Hes missed this, so much more that words couldn’t quite cover it. It’s hard, being away on political trips in Sinbads name, travelling from country to country and with nothing but letters to connect them.

It’s strange, to have moments like this with him, to simply enjoy hiscompany in silence. Somehow, seeing him like this makes her happy, to know hetrusts her that much to let her see him in such vulnerable state.

           “I supposeit’s a good day to stay outside,” she hums, fingers combing through his hair withgentle motions, “And to see you act like this is rather…cute. I think I like it.”

There's a sound that escapes him, somewhere between a sigh and a groan at the feeling of her fingers in his hair. It's a weakness of his, having that kind of stimulation; no matter if it's gentle petting or a tugging at his hair in the throes of passion.

"You know, for a while, I was afraid we wouldn't be able to enjoy moments like this," he comments quietly, fingers stroking her leg absentmindedly, "... I'm going to fall asleep if you keep playing with my hair.."

      It's comfortable beyond words, resting in her lap like this, the sun shining down on the two of them in the gardens of the palace. It’s quiet besides them, and he turns his head to press a light kiss against her clothed thigh.

     “Can’t we just stay like this? I’m comfortable,” the words are quiet, muffled by the skirt of her robe. How often do they get time like this together? “The sun’s warm.”
