Our first 60 days flew by and Quad is already used at over 2,500 of the 4,500 Colleges in the US. We really appreciate all of your support and feedback and we’re excited to tell you about some big new features we added to the latest version of the Quad app that we think you’ll love!
Group chat for up to 500 members, the largest group size of any chat app available.
Topics, or sub-quads, to break out small group or committee chats within the main quad. For example, a Greek organization might have Topics for recruitment, party planning and officer-only chats.
SMS push notifications, allowing quad owners to send updates to group members with feature phones.
Voice memos, allowing you to send recorded messages to group members via quad chats.
Built-in GPS locator to help you find clubs, groups and events going nearby, and a great way to meet new people and discover new activities.
Optimized quads tab to help you stay better organized and find nearby quads.
Public, private and hidden quads, giving you the ability to control who can enter, see and participate in the conversation.
As always, we appreciate all of your feedback and can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the new version of Quad.
And check out this awesome report by #TechCrunch - http://techcrunch.com/2013/11/25/quad-debuts-mobile-messaging-for-college-groups/
