Too bad my AU's about humans and not pumas, then the proportions might not look so weird in reference to this. But I still enjoyed drawing it, and that's what it's all about!

Obviously things get lost in the lining and coloring process, in this case it's the way Lou grips himself in discomfort in panel 4. It bugs me because I found that pretty significant ;_; So I wanted to make it its own post!

One of those fun moments in creativity when the narrative writes itself! :D Shortly after Lou's first seminar, I imagine Wage and Wedgehead interacting with Lou again after having shared a short wavelength for anomaly children. Lou knowing already that they have one, they share a wavelength a second time on the same subject. Asking and answering thoughtful questions, bantering in ways that only an inner circle could. A very relaxing moment! Until the exchange starts making Lou feel... homesick, I would say. But...

"You can't go home again."

While I'm personally using the word "homesick" in relation to my Gatekeeper AU, it could also be interpreted as longing for a place you can't go to; Whether that longing be for a temporary distance or a permanent one. And we know what it is in Lou's case :}

Tired and Sad

Half vent-art and half "gotta draw something or I never will" art. It was fun but then I started losing steam so not very polished for a fully drawn pic. The next time I draw pillows and blankets, it WILL be with the Spy Girls in their nightly habitat!

This is also low-key taken from my Kandy fanfic (still in the drafting stage but it's probably 7 chapters long); where Mandy keeps Kitty company while her sisters are inexplicably "taken" away from her by Lou. It's a fluff fic by definition I think, but I haven't read enough fics to really believe it for myself. I've been personally calling it a "sweet and sour" fic haha.

I threw in a texture and then a border pattern because I made the canvas too big and it all looked awkward :} Aaand I might have made Poppet look too "human" proportioned? Reflective of my current endeavors heh my gatekeeper au comic

Days 1-10 from the prompt challenge done! And thus, I end my contributions here due to overlaps in my recreation schedule. May everyone else have fun!!

And thanks to the Uglydoll Wiki for giving me the idea to draw Gassy and Target, I knew I'd use you eventually :D

And one more note, Happy (unofficial) 7th Anniversary to the Uglydolls movie! My feelings for the movie still remain true as it did from the beginning. Minus "the only one doing it" part; Fandom's branched a little since that time.

Remember that one time when the voice actors drew the characters and they were pretty bad but it was okay because it was fun so we liked them anyway? Pepperidge Farm remembers. A cursed computer prompter could never match such bad... assery! UNH!

Even Nick's! Even though I don't know what the hell he was doing. Drawing Lou's cryptic soul I guess?
