hey! so i’ve been really into yandere visual novels lately and have been playing some in my free time, so i wanted to share with you guys my thoughts on them!! most of these are pretty known, but my descriptions has spoilers! anyone who wants to play any of these games i try to keep it vague but just letting yk! this is only pt1, pt2 is coming, and if u guys want to recommend some then go right ahead!
note: this is just my personal opinion, and am not trying to hate on any of these in any way. MINORS PLEASE DO NOT INTERACT.

Honestly, not bad! Day 2 was obviously much better than day 1. There’s a lot to do and many choices, that do lead to different scenes. My only con is that the bad ending, is like way too short. Your choices seem to be geared to having to actually romance the characters, and for a girly who thinks way too rational being immediately killed is such a downer. The story is very interesting though, and im very curious… also the title is not wrong they are FREAKY. Also in the day 1 there’s a scene where the lights flicker wish the options were timed it would add some tension (idk)

SO, SO, SO GOOD! The UI is honestly so gold, so much to interact with and a lot of games and choices! I’m kinda mad we can’t play star blitz but it’s fine, because literally everything else makes up for it. I’m lowkey biased since it’s a lot of pink, but that doesn’t matter. You can also make your own character! It ends on such a cliffhanger, I’m so excited for the rest! It’s so cute and has mini games guys and u put on cat ears this is so important i swear…

EXTREMELY SLOWBURN, which is a pro in my book it’s definitely fresh compared to how fast I usually go through most VN. Your choices matter, like a lot, that may sound stupid, but small choices make a difference on the overall route you’re taking. ITS ALSO SO INTERESTING. I’m already a completionist at heart, but this is probably the first VN where I made a list on what happens if you choose a different option and how it effects different routes. A little too over, but I don’t really mind. With most VNs it usually leads to a connecting point but I don’t rlly see that in Klein. Though if you are rlly into Klein you lowkey have to ruin your life. I’m not rlly into Klein so I haven’t done his route and only watched thru other peoples perspectives (sorry I can’t bear leaving Yael to die). So if u wanna date Klein you have to cut everyone off and let everyone die for a robot softboy but like that’s what others want so I can’t judge ok

SO EXTREMELY SHORT. Then again it is a demo, soo..— but compared to the new VN this artist dropped the art is quite outdated, but still good nonetheless. I feel like the premise is a good idea but there are a lot of questions that are just never spoken about. Art is good, UI is great, love the quick save and load buttons. Wish it was longer…I also feel like the bad ending is just way too extreme for something that seems not that extreme?? Idk like rejecting one painkiller shouldn’t get me bleeding on the floor with my neck snapping or something the fuck but what ever. I also think that y/n is just way to oblivious like there’s no nurses, she doesn’t have her phone like, cmon u gotta be more sus but it’s a short VN so there’s not a lot to say

The art is so cute and it already has some endings despite it being pretty short! There’s also cool Easter eggs ! I think it’s a very interesting VN so far and can’t wait for more (especially as someone who loves isekai tropes so yea ts for me LOL) also i think there’s 2 yanderes…. It’s a little to early for me to have any cons on this game so none so far, but wait the settings (like the buttons to see the setting) is a little hard to see when some CGs come on so like I have to hope and pray I find it

GUYS THIS IS PEAK well other than the pink hair being a plus, the storytelling is fire ho. All the endings are pretty neat, pretty long except the 1st and 2nd one. I got the 2nd one first which was shocking considering the usual endings that I get. Anyway I feel like Chao seems very trustworthy, so like you wouldn’t be sus of him at all, which is a good in my book since I don’t act mean to the Yandere unless it’s PAINFULLY OBVIOUS HES A WEIRDO. Anyway really good highly recommend!! ALSO HE MATCHED UR FRRAKEAKKK A DEAAKKK. And the MC says things that I deeply relate to, like wanting to be understood yada yada. I’m not sure if I really have any cons other than the UI for the settings buttons just to be a little more visible. Literally everything is peak a liscous.

I love hero shenanigans, so yea I knew I would like this one. It’s by the same creator of Z (which btw I haven’t finished WOOPS) anyway peak storytelling love the characters love the extra content. It’s really good! I also love the UI! I think it’s super unique and really fits the comic theme. Also love the Ray good ending, it’s a true I can fix him moment. I also love how MC isn’t just some civilian but is a baddie with a backstory anyway peak peak peak really good. I guess one bad thing I have to say is how u kinda are into Ray since the start but like it can always change. Other than that I don’t have much cons to say , but it was kinda hard to get the Quasar ending had to search it up. Also tell me why Double heavily reminds me of like Yandere stereotypes or is that just me.

Okay. I’ll be honest it’s been a HOTTT minute since I played this game and it’s one of the more popular ones, so it’s one of the first ones I played. It was good, I love the scale !!! I’m no joking it lowkey was really helpful so plz keep it there. I love the characters too! They are all so diverse and the design is mmm yum delicious. Love the extra info on them, and I’m pretty sure the UI is good too ! (If I can recall…I’m too lazy to replay the game in all honesty). I’m more interested in the story with the other characters and their backgrounds (like geo and hyugo like what is there problem chat). I don’t really remember if there are parts where Sol is extremely suspicious but I don’t really remember him being so obliviously Yandere that MC saw with their own eyes, so trusting him for a awhile was reasonable. Okay so I do have some cons, for one as a Crowe lover and supporter, I get that by kissing him at the beginning of the story gets him killed but MAN WHY IS THERR NOT MORE SHIT WITH HIM BEFORE HE GETS KILLED HUHUUUU I always thought that ending was so ugh in a way that it felt short and lackluster. I’m not sure. I mean fuck sol but like also he’s the Yandere and it is a YANDERE visual novel so… he’s just doing his job and he’s also the resident emo boy so man what can I even say…and I also don’t like pumpkin as a pet name but then again I’m a Crowe supporter

Just like TKATB it has been awhileeeee since I’ve last played this game, I did try to replay it but I guess because I played it before I just wasn’t that interested in playing it again WOOPS. Anyway I love how sus MC is of Ren’s demeanor and how he slips up coz as someone who is overly sus I get that, it gives me a valid reason to #distrust. But because he’s also nervous looking it’s easy to overlook as well so being nice to him is also reasonable. The UI is AMAZINGG and I love how the important choices look different coz like hello that’s such a pro idc. The game has so many cute features and the story is good too, but I’m also so curious about redacted hope to see emo ren soon coz yes i love emo boys. No cons YET…I’m pretty sure I have some but i honestly don’t remember my first play though enough to tell u
