Potionology class with Mr. Crewel was a scary experience to put it lightly. One mistake and he’ll whip you without hesitation! Just the thought is enough to make you shiver..

A well manicured hand grazing your shoulder is enough to make you jump and turn around

“My, it would seem a certain prefect is a little jumpy today.”

Vil smirks and draws his hand back

The pair of you work on the project, and actually make some solid progress! When the bell rings you and Vil go put up your lab gear together, but when you remove your lab coat a decently sized scar on your forearm catches his attention

“Prefect, did you engage in a magic battle with someone?”

You hang up your lab coat and raise an eyebrow at him

“That’s an odd question, but no I haven’t had a recent run in involving magic.”

“Then how did you receive such scars on your forearm?”

Looking down at your arm you realize what he’s referring to

“Right… that’s from when you overbloted and things got a little crazy, but that was forever ago now. Right?”

The unreadable look on his face says he doesn’t care if it happened ten years ago or yesterday. Point is he hurt you, scarred you and had no idea!

“How could I not recognize my own magic..? The blot had made it look so disgusting..”

“You really don’t have to beat yourself up over this Vil. Like I said all of that is in the past now.”

He holds your gaze, a fierce look in his eyes

“Please do not dismiss my past behaviors prefect! I hurt you and that is inexcusable, so please come by Pomefiore and let me treat you to a spa day sometime soon.”

You let out a sigh and tilt your head slightly

“Who am I to deny an invitation from Vil Schoenheit?”

Maybe trying to take the day off from NRC craziness was a bad decision on your part because, while sitting under a tree with your eyes closed an arrow whizzes right over your head and into the tree trunk, causing you to startle awake

Gently he takes your arm into his hands, observing it with his signature grin ever present

A moment passes as he now begins to drag you along

Some sort of gym angel must’ve been looking down upon you because, Coach Vargas decided to let gym class out early today! Seeing as you now have some extra time you make your way over to where the spelldrive team practices

As you approach the field you spot Epel off to the side taking a sip of water

“Hey Epel! How’s practice going?”

He turns around to face you with a raised eyebrow

“Prefect, ain’t you supposed to be in class?”

Taking a seat next to him you sigh

“Well coach was feeling generous today and let us go early!”

He only nods as he drinks another swig of water

As his name leaves your mouth Epel’s eyes narrow

“Technically speaking… yes, but that was months ago now!”

You tug on the sleeve of his uniform
