     It’s not often someone calls out to the Manakete by her name within this place, so naturally Nah can’t help but turn to face the voice out of curiosity. While his vocables sounded familiar, it isn’t until she turns to look up at him that she realizes just who this is… And upon doing so, the teen almost balks in surprise, mauve hues widening for a moment as her lips part.

      ❝ Yata? Is that you? ❞ and while she asks, Nah already knows the answer to her almost-rhetorical question.

      ❝ It has been a while, hasn’t it? Oh, but it’s good to see a familiar face again! ❞ and while she can’t remember everything from the previous city, the hybrid most definitely remembers him. As a result, she can’t help but perk up as she addresses him, offering a smile as she does so. 

      ❝ Oh, is that the name of the place you’re from? Though, yes, I share the same sentiment; there’s… Plenty here I have never seen in Ylisse. I’m still getting used to it, ❞

Even if it were a long shot, he's rather relieved that she actually does remember him. Leap of faith paying off, but it's not like he would have just avoided her altogether rather than test the waters. It's easier to loosen up, and his smile spreads, reaching his eyes. "Of course it's me ! Yatagarasu, ready to go !!" Maybe he's getting a little too pumped up, but who cares. "Glad ya remember me. Would'a been embarrassing if ya hadn't. Er—for me."

Moving on… "But yeah, Shizume City. It's kinda weird being here instead of there; I'm kinda hoping to run into some other people, too." Selfish? Maybe. "Ylisse where you're from? —I can adjust..sorta...it'll take a bit, but if we have to be here then I wanna try some stuff." There's too much interesting things for him to pass up on. Who knows how long he'll be here.

"There's a lotta ground to cover, y'wanna come with? Catch up or somethin'? Tell me about Ylisse, all of that !"

There's conflicting feelings fighting away in him, relief over seeing someone he knows and sheer panic. The details are fuzzy, but he knows for a moment, he did return home. It's not until he's back somewhere else that he remembers everything. Remembers what he left behind.

"Nah?" he pauses for a moment, swallows the lump of nerves building up in his throat that would keep him from speaking — does she remember him? Rationalizes it that if he remembers her then she must, but he vaguely recalls how the other city worked. Some people don't remember. For now, he'll go off the assumption that she does. "Didn't think I'd see ya here. It's… been awhile, hasn't it?"

A short laugh, hand raises to rub the back of his neck. He's having a hard time looking her in the eye, as if he feels guilty for not saying goodbye, or sorry that he had to leave, or anything. Anything would have been better than nothing. "S'good to, though." He gathers the courage to actually look at her directly, looks for any avenue to quickly recover from sounding like such a downer. "It's kinda neat, though, y'know? There's stuff here not in Shizume."
