Itâs an existential, surrealist and dystopian anime series with the cutest character designs and AMAZING animation lol. I found the whole series on DVD at my local library and I havenât been the same since akskdkd.
The central concept is about memories. The series takes place in a universe where it is possible to store, export, override, buy/sell peopleâs memories. But where is the line drawn between our mind, body, and soul when is possible to implant our memories onto other bodies? What are the societal implications of the commercialization and market demand for peopleâs memories and bodies? These questions and a lot more are what came up for me when I saw this show.
