I told my friend (a guy) that this summer I’ve become a lot more feminist and he was like “oh in what ways” and I explain that “I’m understanding and rationalizing a lot of things around me through the system of the patriarchy”

And he still is a little confused so I make him a 10 min voice memo of going through what is the patriarchy simply and one way the patriarchal conditioning exists — when guys don’t stand up for women in the face of misogynistic behavior

So he listens to these voice memos (a common occurrence) when he’s at the gym and this is what he had to say

3 months ago I lost my entire makeup bag worth around $200 I bought with my own money literally only 2 months before I lost it. I WILL find it again when I come back.
