Location: Farmer’s Market
Wren’s eyes were scanning the picks of the day. When it came to food, she was a bit of an experimenter. Her thought in mind for tonight: fruit tacos. The idea of it causing her mouth to water as her blue eyes caught on some peaches. Her stomach got the best of her, reaching over the other individual who was there.
“Oh- Hi!” Her smile overtaking her features, though she didn’t stop her actions. “I promise - no Timotheé Chalamet funny business will be going on with these babies.” A light laugh slipped passed her lips as she displayed one of the peaches for emphasis.
ARTHUR HAD been eyeing the peaches for a while. He felt like he needed to exercise some restraint. His heart told him to load up on the sweet fruit. To buy as many as he could carry. Arthur was a large guy, so it wasn’t particularly uncommon for people to have to try and weave themselves around his bulking frame. As soon as Wren started to brush against him, Arthur gave her due space, tilting his head with a quick “sorry ma’am.”
Arthur cocked a brow at the young woman. Looking from her to the peaches in his hand, and back again. “Y'know,” he started as he placed one of them in his basket. “that wouldn’t have been my first guess. But now I’m thinkin’ it’s a mighty strange thing to bring up,” Arthur let out a barking laugh and raised a hand. “not that I’m judging none, mind you,”
