Stranger Things 5 is like we’re going to give you every single gay sexual innuendo / joke surrounding Mike possible, every single romantic visual indicator he’s interested in Will, have the ‘home invasion’ on the Wheeler’s house that they’ve wanted since Season 1 where they DESTROY MIKE’S CLOSET by throwing his dad through it WITH the One Way sign STILL THERE, every ad will show you that Mike will protect Will by any means necessary or that Mike is his strongest self when he’s close with Will, show you how little chemistry Mike and El have, show you how much chemistry Mike and Will have even when they both think they’re getting rejected repeatedly, highlight Mike’s struggle to say I love you to El for the 3rd time (3 to be exact), have Will look like he is about to rail Mike after the D&D game, make as many comparisons to Brokeback Mountain as possible in the epilogue, have everyone weirded out by how obsessive Mike is acting over Will, have the only time we hear Mike’s sexuality discussed be after Will has been possessed by Vecna who is known for creating false hallucinations for people who are under his spell, focused on Mike as much as Will during HIS coming out (having him wearing CAMOUFLAGE), resolved a 5-season long love triangle between a woman and two men with the two men ‘hinted’ at being together, AND broke up the “main couple” of the love triangle because they realized their relationship was built on shared trauma (a WHEELER looking for their best friend that was taken to the Upside Down, with the other looking for their brother WILL BYERS (and WHO becomes Will’s brother later?)).

They are literally giving the audience every single indication that Mike Wheeler is at least attracted to men and in love with Will Byers without saying it. They are doing nearly everything in their power to show and tell you without explicitly stating it (for WHY, depends on if you think the show is over or not). “They wouldn’t break up the flagship couple of the show” - they already broke up one of the longest relationships in the show, and they will do it again. When Mike’s love and queerness are explicitly stated to the audience, there is literally NO room for “that came out of nowhere”. You either see it and deny it, or you literally cannot fathom that gay people actually exist without them coming out specifically to you. It is not FOR YOU.

Ez a nagy petíciózás meg kampányolgatás a részükről olyan, mintha anno a Gyurcsányék akcióztak volna azért a rendszerváltás után, hogy az ex-állampárt privilegizált ifjúsági szervezete, egy gigászi komcsi ideológiai agymosoda, a KISZ, a III. Magyar Köztársaság alatt is operálhasson ugyanúgy, és ugyanazokkal a jelentős kiváltságokkal, amikkel a Kádár-korszak alatt is.

Gyerekek, fogadjátok el, hogy a fidesz elitképzője voltatok. Egy erős politikai hátszéllel fenntről létrehozott és üzemeltetett ideológiai agymosó intézményt nem tudtok mostmár alulról építkező civil kezdeményezésként eladni, ahogy ezt most a petíciózással próbáltátok megcsinálni.
