everything is mainly canon (although we can make whatever changes you want, it doesn’t really matter) in the klaine storyline. atticus and blaine were always close friends in high school, as tic was kind ofeverywhere and talked to everyone and was, y’know, pretty hype when his brother was finally happy. of course, atticus the idiot™ didn’t really count on falling in love with blaine along the way, but he kept his mouth shut because kurt needed a win, etc etc. klaine gets married. atticus doesn’t know how to cope with life and also didn’t really plan anything out for his future so he enlists in the marines. makes himself scarce. etc etc.

aaaand then eight years & 2 to 3 kids later, kurt dies. through a mixture of grief/guilt for only seeing kurt & the fam only once or so a year/some misplaced need to help/ever persistent love for blaine, atticus ends up moving into the spare bedroom to help out with the kids and get blaine back up on his feet. it’s about two years later or somethin’ and tic is still there. still guilty af for being in love for his late brother’s widow and unable to abandon his nieces/nephews. blaine’s just as fucked up as he is. shenanigans ensue.
