“Ha ha, very funny. But no. What I can’t see doesn’t scare me...unless it’s under the water. Then that freaking terrifies me. At least I can HEAR what I can’t see in the air. I’m hopeless underwater.”

“Oh yes, I grew up as an orphan in secret under an Iron Legion Primus, the cubs there enjoyed picking on me because of how small and frail I was starting out as well as my attachment to my parents.

Outside of that however, I was quite the outsider in college, but most of the bullying to that extent was just verbal remarks I solved with a fist to the face and some time in detention. 

They didn’t bully me much after that.”

“I...well, as much as I go on about admiring my scars and praising others for their signs of battle...the disfigurement these scars have left me do still bother me. My husband still finds me desirable, but the lingering uneasy eyes of those that don’t know me when I walk by can be disheartening at best.

It’s amplified a bit since I’ve spent so much more time in Rata Sum, many of the researchers and scientists that adorn the city have not seen as much battle as I and find my features that much more repulsive. 

Outside of that, there’s also my decreased health and physical capabilities. Wondering if I’ll be able to defend myself soon with how much I’ve started to wither. That I’m going to lose the one thing I’ve spent so long building up and making myself with...

Ah, quite the baggage I suppose. But, hopefully in time I’ll come to peace with these things.”

“If hospital is to be rounded up to ‘intense medical treatment required’, likely too many to count. The times I’ve been in a formal brick and mortar hospital, however, I can count. 

Once when my back was being prepared for my spinal brace to be implanted, once for the time I was shot six times on a caravan run with a branch of the Black Lion Trading Company and Kiba -dragged- me there (and we promptly broke out together), once in Lion’s Arch when I was recovered in Orr missing an eye, once in Divinity’s Reach out of obligation to a noble woman to seek help for my insomnia issues, and once for...birth complications.
