She couldn’t help but laugh a little as he pouted. He rarely showed off his cuteness but when he did it always made her smile. She sat down on the couch and spread her arms out to him. “Come here then, cutie”

his arms didnt flinch to move from his side when the woman hugged him. his heart raced a million times a minute, and he was sure that if she played enough attention, she’d be able to hear it go wild in its cage. “its okay…” he muttered and finally his arms found their way to around her body “im sorry for having acted… so harshly”
She sighed, snuggling up against him. “I love you.” Her words were almost muffled with how close they were. His embrace was always so comforting to her but there was still a sense of guilt in her. If he had left like that she would’ve had a breakdown compared to his much calmer reaction. “I won’t ever leave you like that ever again.”

Putting the pet down she turned to face him with a pout “but when I’m with you, I wanna be hugged and held and sit on your lap” she held her arms out, rather child-like

it took him a moment to let the news sink it. it wasn’t definite, there was a tiny small possibility that he would not be a parent and that her health could be suffering from some error. ‘ did you take a test? go to the doctor? ‘ he inquired, a hand moving forward to cup in his what was her small one. it felt so fragile against his, soft, perfect for him to hold forever.
Though it was a small action, just having her hand in his was reassuring. She shook her head, her eyes focused on their hands. “I always meant to go get a test but I never found the time...and I was scared.” She always had a habit of playing with his fingers, this time being no different. “and I still am.”

he seemed dead, the same still position being held throughout the hours of his time waiting for her. from time to time his heart relaxed, falling victim of the exhaustion their fight had brought onto him but when her face, her name or her voice popped up in his head again his heart started making him feel alive again with the feeling of multiple emotions; rage, happiness, sadness, grief. his head shot up when it seemed like it wasnt his mind reproducing her voice but actual reality; her, calling for him. ‘ youre back ‘ he stood up abruptly, standing in the middle of the living room with his hands folded shyly onto his lap. he didnt know what to say, what to do. if he should apologise or not. in the end, to avoid talking what might ruin everything, he chose to remain silent.
Walking in slowly, she jumped a little after hearing his voice. She wanted to get home quickly but she hadn’t thought of what to say to him and it broke her heart to see the large gap in between them, to feel the awkward tension. Being a woman of action more than words, she closed the gap that made her more uncomfortable the longer she stood so far away from him and wrapped her arms around his waist. She wanted nothing more than to be held by him and know that they would be okay. “I’m sorry...I shouldn’t have left like that.”

his body felt soulless and empty. the silence after the storm always left him with the sensation of uneasiness, that it was over that it’d come back and get him. his legs hung from the couch, arm thrown over his face, covering his closed eyes as he sighed loudly and exhaustively. he waited. he had nothing else to do but sulk in the despair and loneliness and wait- for hours. his stomach growled but he didnt have time for that kind of stuff, he didnt feel like going out when she could walk in that door at any moment. He’d never forgive himself if he was out when she came back, so he waited. for hours, on that same position.
Not having the same creative energy that she usually had was killing her and she knew exactly why. When she finally turned her phone back on, she felt a sense of panic once she realized just how much time had passed. What was he doing right now? Had he eaten? He definitely wouldn’t be asleep. Too many questions ran through her head that made her more and more anxious to get home. She walked a little faster than she usually would only to stop at the door to their home, hoping that he hadn’t left. With some hesitation she gently opened the door, speaking softly “Babe?”

‘ you hold onto them and never let go ‘ the answer didnt need a second of hesitance. he was very sure. ‘ woah. what situation would make charlie a greater cuddler than me?! ‘
“You have to be fast enough to catch them first.” she smiled playfully at his words and started walking away, knowing she could tease him a little. “There are lots! He’s small so he’s pretty good to hug and just kind of hold.”

a brow rose and his eyes, that before were wandering between her and the coffee place they were in, focused entirely on her features and his eyes glistened with a seemingly happiness; though his mouth didnt flinch to form a smile ‘ what do you mean? ‘ he had hopes on the news, but wouldnt get ahead on his time in case he was misunderstanding
She looked up from her cup to meet his gaze, a little surprised (but relieved) at how happy he seemed. “Well I...um missed my period and I just thought it was late but it’s been almost a month and a half so either something is wrong with me or I’m pregnant.” she felt fidgety and couldn’t seem to stay still.

the woman mentioned it, and it caused a bigger smile to bloom in the male’s lips. the thought of having a child with her thrilled him with happiness. he nodded. ‘ when we have a child we’ll be a complete family. im very excited for it to happen ‘ he minded to comment on the matter
Though she looked away and out the window, she saw his smile in her side view. Her heart started racing as she hesitated to say her next words, still not looking directly at him. “That..m-might be happening sooner than you’d think” she cleared her throat, scared about how he’d interpret and react to her words.

he kept his body still, for the woman to be able to keep her embrace around him for as long as she desired. ‘ i wouldve cuddled you, then ‘ he decided, watching as the woman picked up their animal ‘ dont you like cuddling me more than charlie? ‘
“How can you cuddle someone if they’re rolling away from you?” she laughed softly as she teased, focusing her attention more on their pet than him. “Hm...I guess it depends on the situation.”

he had to admit that she was right when it came to leaving at night. he was the one that left her alone the most at those times, and he never told her about what he did to get the actual blood because he wondered just how terrified she’d become. he always tried to avoid that. ‘ i– ‘ he wanted to talk again, speak up, continue this argument until it found an end but she chose to leave and think. it worried him. thinking could lead to dangerous outcomes, but she had said she loved him. that she would come back; it wasnt a goodbye for eternity. he still got worried. ‘ be careful ‘ his heart spoke despite of his pride. no matter how much they’d fought and made her cry, he still worried.
She knew he would let her go especially after she gave him confirmation that she’d be back. She always needed to leave and process her thoughts in situations like this and she absolutely hated that about herself. It was far too cold to continue roaming around aimlessly so she went back to the studio, knowing she could stay as long as she needed to. Being in an empty studio with just her and the music always brought peace of mind- but this time it felt different. Her usually fluid movements were nowhere to be found and she found herself tripping over her feet more than anything. She had no perception of time considering there were no windows in the studio and her phone was turned off.

she kept crying, which made his throat choke up on a sob he didnt let go until he spoke, voice breaking, signalling that this fight was getting to him. but there were no tears in his eyes. ‘ sometimes youre gone for a whole day yoojung, im used to your usual schedule but you leave, for hours, and im left here wondering where the hell you are! you just always tell me youll be late… ‘ his voice faded as his sentence finished, gaze lowering to the floor as a hand moved up to rub his name. it wasnt working, this wasnt working. for him, it was the situation, it was the dark, single spot of distrust and worry for each other what was killing them. ‘ if you leave… if you leave youll really break me. i’ll start thinking you really… want this to end. ‘ he didnt want it to end. he just wanted a solution. some kind of way they could make each other trust and believe while theyre out for long amounts of time, and in dangerous hours, with people they dont know.
“Do you think you’re the only one waiting and worrying in the middle of the night? At least I come back by midnight unless it’s a special occasion where I can’t...and I try my best to tell you when those times come but I guess that’s not enough. Meanwhile you just disappear some nights with no word as to when you’ll be back.” she let out a sigh, trying to process in her mind what the best decision would be. She loved him far too much to end their relationship but she couldn’t stand that this problem would always come up and get in between them. “You’d be stupid to think that I want us to break up....and I need you to know that I love you but...I really need to be alone right now but that doesn’t mean I’m leaving you.” she finally turned the handle and walked out without looking back. Thankfully her phone and wallet had been in her pockets since she had gotten home from work so she wasn’t walking aimlessly around the neighborhood in the cold with absolutely nothing to do.

“Finances, how interesting!” She couldn’t help but laugh at the thought of the two of them sitting at a table paying bills and doing other important things. “It might be similar to how we live now, but I’m sure there will be changes as we go on, you know? Like we could be parents to an actual child, not just Charlie and Susie...” she said it without thinking and regretted it already, hoping he wouldn’t dwell too much on the topic.

he wasnt surprised with the sudden hug. having known this woman for years, he could’ve seen it coming. the house wasnt usually this quiet anyways. ‘ hello babe ‘ he let out a small chuckle ‘ does this mean you wouldnt have cuddled me if i wouldnt have bought the ice cream? ‘
She pouted at his reaction, or lack thereof. He was smiling meaning she had succeeded in the end. “Hm...probably not? Or at least not until absolutely necessary.” she pulled away from the embrace to pick up their dog who had just walked in “plus, Charlie love cuddles!”

Being above average in singing, rapping, dancing, and looks was what Jennie was known for. She was the ace card of the group – the all rounder. There was not a role she could not stand up for if given the oppurtunity, however, there was always a better option since she wasn’t the best. Perhaps being exceptionally well in all these skills could come as a blessing but, at times, she was put down for not having a sole talent. It weakened her to hear such negativity. Despite this, Jennie always executed herself as best as possible, proving she was a talented spirit.
In the name of bettering her skills, the young idol called upon a close friend to help with her dancing. They say practice makes perfect and so Jennie took this idiom upon herself and did just that. “Yoojung-ah!” calling from across the studio, legs flimsily jogged over to the female friend, a gummy smile plumping lips. Without any further words, the idol wrapped her slender arms around her friend, tightly embracing her before laughing a sweet tune. “I’m sorry if I kept you waiting. We had a not-so-brief meeting,” a pout broke out, “I’m really excited, though! I’ve been looking forward to dancing with you all week!”
Jennie being one of the hottest rookies around along with the other BlackPink members made it difficult for any of them to go outside of the YG building or any other schedules without a huge crowd gathering around. It was only natural that Yoojung made a visit to YG’s dance studio instead of Jennie coming to One Million. The success of the company really showed in its building- especially the dance studio. It felt a little unreal that she would be teaching choreo in such a large space.
Her friend’s voice brought her back out of her thoughts before she opened her arms with a smile to embrace her. “It’s okay! It hasn’t been too long since I got here anyway.” she smiled and poked the other’s pout “Well, I hope you’re ready to work then! I’m gonna teach you something a little different stylistically compared to what you’ve been doing. If you’re gonna be a better dancer you might as well try other styles, right?”

✪ “I’ve done this a few times, but I’m no pro or anything.” Over the years Johnny’s accumulated quite a few female friends; so he’s picked up a thing or two, that is, when he actually had the time. Every now and again a friend may have needed help with her hair, and he isn’t one to turn a blind eye. Despite putting all of his might into it, as he does mostly everything, the usual reaction to the finish product was often something like, “This is… nice…” followed by a pained smile. Seeing Yoojung’s genuine content with his skills, he worked up a big, childlike smile in response, feeling accomplished.
Johnny’s slowly but surely becoming more accustomed to getting his makeup done, especially now that he’s been “released from SM’s dungeon,” as the fans would say. Swapping places with Yoojung to make her job a little more easy, he rested his back against the back of the chair in an attempt to get a little more comfortable. “Hmm…” he said, one arm folded under the other as a hand rested on his chin as if in deep thought. Bringing his hands down to his lap, he leaned forward a bit, smiling, and continued, “Make me pretty like you.”
Of course the braids he had done for her weren’t perfect but she found it so endearing that he put in the effort to try it anyway. It was definitely better than what any of her male colleagues could have done. She felt a little shy at his words and couldn’t help but smile. “Something differently from the makeup you’re used to, I see. I’ll just do a simple everyday look so you don’t have to take off 20 layers of make up later.” she joked with a small laugh as she picked the products that she wanted to use.
“First, we have to get your hair out of the way” taking a hairband with a bow on it, she gently used it to move his fringe out of his face. “Aw, you’re already looking so pretty!” she tilted his head up slightly so she could make sure to give him even coverage of base makeup on his face before moving onto the smaller things. “Now I’m gonna do your eye makeup and I’ll try to make it go by quickly!” eye makeup was always the most tedious part of makeup because so much could get messed up. Yoojung, thankfully, had a steady hand which made it easier to curl his lashes and do his eyeliner with a little wing at the end. “Boys always have such long eyelashes and they’re so oblivious to it...” for eye shadow, she opted for more neutral colors like brown with a little gold. Wanting there to be a pop of color, the red lipstick seemed to be the best choice. “Your face is already so chiseled that I don’t think you need me to contour your face. Other than that, you’re done!” she took the headband off and fixed his hair a little before admiring her work. “I’m actually so proud of how good your make up looks right now.”
