The challenge of this project was to instill a warm feel to the home while creating a grand and stunning aesthetic. To achieve this goal we embraced “Contrast” as our Concept for the project.

A magnificent water feature welcomes you and leads you towards the entrance of the home. Inside each space is carefully crafted to play a specific role in the project. The social areas incorporate impressive double-height volumes, while the intimate family areas present a much smaller scale generating a cozier feeling.

Floor to ceiling glass dominates a large portion of the back facade in order to frame the views of the water and landscape, and earth-toned natural stones are used to add warmth and grandeur to both the interior and the exterior of the home.

My first customers. 🇺🇸 Or how much the design profession is in demand and cool. One has only to mention one’s activities in a casual conversation, as people have a number of questions: what color to choose? and where to put the sofa? and how to save on repairs, etc. And it is nice to realize that people understand the importance of our profession. Many have stereotypes that construction is a very simple process, the main thing is to build walls, such as plastering them, sticking on wallpaper, putting a soft sofa and the thing is done! Then they move into a new apartment/house and it turns out that the TV was attached too high, and the kitchen worktop too low, and the switches on wrong levels ... Now I have 2 work projects. Photo 1 - planning consultation + furniture plan for two families who live in the same house. Photo 2 - an elderly family, a private house. At the moment I’m working on the first stage - planning. Further, the furniture plan, concept board, floor plan, ceiling plan, wall development, etc. Each stage will be agreed with the customer separately. On average, it takes 2-3 months to develop a complete album of drawings and visualizations. Keep track my stories how is process going. 🇷🇺 Мои первые заказчики. Или насколько профессия дизайнера востребована и крута. Стоит только упомянуть о своей деятельности в случайном разговоре, как у людей появляется ряд вопросов: а какой цвет выбрать? а куда диван поставить? а как сэкономить на ремонте и пр. И это приятно осознавать, что люди понимают значимость нашей профессии. У многих есть стереотипы, что стройка это процесс очень простой, главное стены возвести, как то их оштукатурить, наклеить обойки, поставить мягкий диван и дело в шляпе! Потом заселяются в новую квартиру/дом и оказывается, что телевизор прикрепили слишком высоко, а кухонная столешница слишком низкая, и выключатели прилепили где-попало… Сейчас у меня в работе 2 объекта. Indian design. The topic is quite extensive, but I will try to briefly describe my experience of being here, as I live and communicate only with the Indians. First of all, this is a unique piece of our planet with a thousand-year history. This is a certain number of countries, united in one federal parliamentary republic, and each part has its own language, foundations, traditions, cuisine, and, of course, styles. The culture here is the brightest and still does not give up its positions. You can spend your whole life studying history and religion. I managed to visit 4 cities (Bangalore, New Delhi, Agra, Jaipur). For everyone, the Indian interior is associated with bright fabrics, gold, oriental motifs, mosaics and other curls, mehendi-style ornaments and much more, you just remember the Taj Mahal. These are the main points of classical design (its features in the next post), and it has a place to be, in my opinion, in hotels, cafes and other places where a person once comes to get a new aesthetic experience (I really want to implement something similar in the future) . It will be discussed later, but what is happening at the moment inside the house of the average-static family. The rhythm of movement and development makes us choose neutral shades of walls and furniture, and not at all the classic palette. I’ll say, here, as in Ukraine, in connection with the economic situation of the country, there is a very large gap between rich and poor people, and looking at the facades, you can easily understand who is who. In 80% of cases (in my opinion) apartments for rent 1, 2, 3 ... BHK (bedroom, hall, kitchen) or RK (room, kitchen) with beige walls and floor and that's it! Complete as you want, and of course people get by with the most basic ones (the kitchen table is not included there). I'm doing great today. 🇺🇸 Hexagonal tile, or its correct name, hexagon, is a rather rare phenomenon in modern interiors, but quite unusual. I really liked this non-standard transition tile-parquet board in this version. Today I finally reached the stage of “Floor Plan” and share with you my result of what I did. 🙀 Any parquet laying master now probably mentally drops the atomic bomb on all designers and their creative ideas. But what can I do. Sandy, Sandy, beauty is pain! 🇷🇺 Я сегодня молодец. Шестиугольная плитка, или правильное ее название гексагон, достаточно редкое явление в современных интерьерах, но достаточно необычное. Мне же очень полюбился этот нестандартный переход плитка-паркетная доска именно в таком исполнении. Сегодня я наконец дошла до этапа “План напольных покрытий” и делюсь с вами своим итогом, что  у меня получилось.  🙀 Любой паркетчик сейчас наверное мысленно сбрасывает атомную бомбу на всех дизайнеров и их креативные идеи. Но что уж тут поделать. Когда я начала заниматься планированием, ещё не умела делать это правильно. То есть для меня это было просто написать список дел и следовать ему. Со временем сама сообразила что к чему и как должно быть.

Первое время моим ежедневником была обычная тетрадь, где я на один день выделяла одну страницу, но потом что-то пошло не так и я записывала все мысли / дела / даты / пароли куда попало, на любую страницу, что откроется.

А одна из инста блогеров (единственная, на кого подписана 😅) как раз часто стала показывать свой ежедневник и рассказывать о его пользе. Ну и я решила, что хочу сделать сама свой. Сделала. Получилось круто, но что-то все же не то.

Приближается (уже приблизился) учебный год и я захотела сделать сюрприз сестре, ей как старосте группы просто необходим планер, совмещённый с учебными делами. Ну и сделала за пару дней. А когда все распечатала, офигела от того, насколько круто вышло. Ещё больше офигела, конечно, моя сестра. Она 15 минут стояла над этими страницами, разложенными на моей кровати, и боялась их трогать.

Вот итог 💁🏻‍♀️

Параллельно с сюрпризом для сестры я сделала и для себя.

Мой стиль - минимализм, поэтому в нём только всё самое необходимое и без всяких рисунков / узоров. Просто ЧБ планер. В него включила колесо жизненного баланса - хочу попробовать с ним поработать, посмотрю что в итоге получится.

Вот подумываю делать на этом деньги 😁 По крайней мере смотрела такие ежедневники в магазинах, типа Буквоеда, стоят они достаточно дорого, на мой взгляд, но ведь люди покупают. Тем более что теперь я знаю себестоимость этих всех блокнотиков и мне вообще не хочется покупать их в магазинах, слишком завышена цена.

Вот такая история появления у меня нового хобби 😊
