Miss Heed News

We finally see Miss Heed’s newest book, Secret Confessions of a Super Hero:

And (as f#cking usually-) she has been promoting her newest soul catching- I mean, merch, on her socials:

And so far, over on Twitter, there’s a photo within the book that I wasn’t expecting to see so soon;

Heed’s Parents. However, there’s multiple things going through my mind when seeing this:

1. Heed looks relatively young and according to the show’s lore and medical reports from PEACE themselves, Heed joined the organization of the heroes at age 17, where her hair is fully pink. In Flug’s memories, she only had the tips of her bangs dyed in a pink heart, but she hadn’t worn her pink contacts yet. In this photo, she still has her natural brown hair and eyes.

So that begs the question: What is Heed graduating from in this photo? And no less under the age of 17. What other schools has she been to?

2. It’s clear that Heed takes after her mother, no doubt the woman placed such high expectations on Heed, as most mothers are children’s first bullies in life, especially with girls. The way her mother is dressed also makes me wonder if Heed is of mixed descent, or if that’s just how her mother likes to dress.

3. While her father LOOKS like a sweet guy, we know that isn’t true. In one of the comics, it is revealed he has multiple connections with Villain Mafias and has made deals with them in the past. He specifically helped come up with a scheme to frame rookie villains to take the fall for Heed’s crimes against the world and PEACE itself, has hid his daughter on a yacht with the help of their family lawyer. Even if he did it to “protect her”, no GOOD, mortal parent would let their child get away with world domination. I don’t believe it for a SECOND that he’s a good kid.

And again, Heed was originally enrolled in a VILLAIN school. And it’s clear he has high connections with PEACE themselves, who are canonly worse than villains. You don’t fool me.

4. Only the words “Best Dad” are in this photo. Not “Best Parents”, not “Best Dad AND Mom”. ONLY Dad. No doubt, Heed is closer to her father then her mother, as again, in the comics, he does everything he can to hide her after the events of episode 6 and helps get her hero status back.

The “We can Dance” website has been turned into a site for PEACE for some reason, with it even listing their most wanted villains.

And you know what? You need us. What would all of you do without us heroes? All of this makes it very clear to me that villains cannot change, they cannot be redeemed, they will never stop being bad.

You know I think Flug would agree villains don't want to be redeemed, but the fact she throws him under the bus and claims he sexually assaulted her is just shitty. He doesn't care what people think of him as a villain because he has a lot of things he would proudly show off, but this just this. She is throwing and projecting him as the predatory former friend who took advantage of someone to use for his own purposes. This has to be the biggest ship sinking moment for Paperheart and I say this woman deserves to go down hard.

Miss Heed Headcanon/Analysis/Theory

Based on some info from Miss Heed: Confessions of a Superheroine, Dr Flug's Logbook/ Demencia's Diary, Episode 6: The Heedious Heart, Episode 1: The Dreadful Dawn

From this page, we get to learn that Miss heed is the younger sibling out of two.

This aligns with the implications that Flug is the youngest as well.

This makes me wonder if they bonded over it? Perhaps even poured their heart out over it in quiet moments? With a catch, of course.

Image 2: From episode one

This picture insinuates Flug was likely neglected or overshadowed by his brother. It also shows that the older brother (i say older because he seems short i dunno,) needn't be perfect either (shown from untucked shirt and off centered tie), yet their parents appear to fawn over him.

When contrasting it to heed's family, the family dynamic with two siblings is very close, aside from a tiny difference.

Heed was the one that overshadowed her sibling. She was her family's golden child.

Call me crazy, but her brother seems to be hitting the same pose as Flug. Furthermore, HE'S BEEN CUT OUT OF THE PHOTO IN THE BOOK! This happens in the following image aswell.

Another thing to note is Miss Heed's behaviour of taking other people's experiences and twisting it into her own.

What she claims and states in the above are NOT her own experiences. Those belong to Flug. Flug was the one who had his compassion taken advantage of at the Institute, he was the one that was tricked into finishing up the formula upon getting hypnotized and he was the one that was forcibly kissed.

This happens in episode 6 as well, in the following screenshot.

Cecilia mentions her wants of becoming special to Kenning, which inspired him.

My intepretation of the above information/headcanon based on the above information is that Kenning at one point may have confessed his feelings of inferiority towards his brother to Cecilia, whom he saw as a friend at the Institute. Upon learning this, Cecilia may has seen an out to get closer to him and his 'gift' by bonding over a shared experience she did not truly have. She may have portrayed herself as the neglected one, perhaps even ranting about it to him, using it as an explanation for her desperation to become special, which inspired Flug to work harder. Reflecting back Flug's sorrow at him so he didn't feel so alone, Cecilia further established herself as a close friend of his. The added fact they were both the youngest of their respective families made the small lie seem so full of care at the time.

This could be yet another factor why Flug did not suspect her then, instead worried for her safety and missed her. Because he saw them as similar.

Main Text

Part of growing up is going to college, and here starts a super emotional chapter for me, my beloved followers. I’m going to tell you about a stage of my life, like, where I felt super lost, completely disconnected from the world. I know, you’re probably asking yourselves the same thing I was asking myself back then: how, with so many skills, attributes, and talents, could I not find something where I could stand out? I don’t know. My doctor in therapy used to tell me that maybe I was so good at so many things that, like, it was hard for me to just pick one!

I said it in an interview and I’ll repeat it now in my book:

So that was the first real challenge in my life, feeling nervous and frustrated because... um, like, it does make me a little upset when things don't go the way I'd like, but I discovered that's not a bad thing! And by that I mean it's not bad to feel that way—it is bad that things don't go the way I'd like.

Finally, I decided that, with my countless talents, my natural kindness, and my charitable skills for helping others, I would stand out as a superheroine. I’ve always really enjoyed helping and guiding others so they could be themselves, so I decided that would be best for me. And from there, I applied to a super special high school and college. I can't reveal its name, even if you beg me on your knees; only the best of the best among the best attend, sir, and with honors.
