Today was Day 4 of the #YogisInspire Yin Yoga Challenge and I have to apologize for being late for our date! I had in my calendar to post tonight for Day 4, but alas I got it wrong and I am so sorry for the confusion yogis! So I will be posting instructions for Day 4 now, and in another hour I'll post for Day 5 Day 4 of #YogisInspire is Butterfly Pose and here are the instructions: 1. Come into a seated position and bring the soles of your feet to touch. Let your hips open, letting your knees fall away from each other. Support your knees or thighs with blocks if needed. 2. Sit tall and take a deep breath in, lengthening your spine. On an exhale hinge forward at your hips. Once you get to your limit hinging at the hips, then you can begin to round your spine as long as that is comfortable for you. 3. Prop up your head or surrender it to gravity. Relax your belly and your legs. Breathe deeply and find stillness. Stay here for 3-5 minutes in a relaxed state and with as little movement as possible. 4. To release, take an inhale to lift your head bringing your neck in line with your back. then exhale to press yourself all the way upright. Bring your knees together and then straighten your legs and lean back onto your hands to gently release your hips and shake out your legs. Enjoy this new open and spacious sensation in your hips, lower back and outer thighs. We hope that you are enjoying this self discovery journey brought to you by Hosts: @Fit_Yoga_Girl @Yogashalameag @Yogi_Bhagavati @Lancuks20 And our guest host to close the challenge up @Ania_75 Send some love to our sponsors: @iamvibes @karmamantra @infinitystrap @limitlesswheel @bunniesandzen 🙏🏻 Slow down and take the time to sit with yourself for longer during each posture and witness where you are truly.
