Important Announcements!

Hello!!! So this is some important stuff for our members, especially new members, to read! c:

Okay! First of all, we need everyone’s SKYPE names so that we can add you to our chat c: 

Second! We need all new members to choose an ICON picture for our members page. We will need them to be 500x500px. If you don’t know how to crop your picture, you can just send us your picture and tell us how you want it and we will try our best to make it that way :D Also, if you are an old member and would like to have your icon changed, then the same goes for you~

Lastly, we will need you guys to put this BADGE somewhere on your blog so we can be cool B) The code below should work but if you are having any troubles with it at (placement etc) then just contact us and we’ll help you out <3

This is massushiro, habuti, and samuraibleu’s network, Yokoburi!

This is our second year with the network and we are excited for another year! Though we had lots of fun last year, we had to say goodbye to some of our members, and though that makes us sad it means we get to accept new members!

This is a social network, meant to create a place for people to meet others to make friends and have fun. We don’t pick people based on the amount of followers you have or how your blog looks, we just want cool people who want to have fun

Rules to Apply

You must be an Anime (Art/Gifs, can be color or monochrome) or Japanese Photography blog

You must have an Active blog

Must be nice and helpful to other members

You must follow the network blog

Remember, this is not a network to gain followers and such, this is a network to connect with other people and make friends (Because where’s the fun in just having a blog if you don’t get the experience of meeting people?)

You don’t need to follow the admins or other members but I’m sure it would be appreciated!

Its been a while! How are you guys?

We've been talking and we would like to reopen applications for the network this summer! To do this we need to know how many existing members are interested in staying in the network so we know how many people to accept.

So we are asking that you fill out this form to keep your spot in the network, completing the form guarantees that you keep your spot as a member. This form is due April 4th.

Please remember this is a social network, those who were actually present last year know this. So if you know that you will be too busy to be an active member we ask  that you allow someone who will to take your spot.

Important Announcement

Hello everyone, today we have a very important announcement. First of all, we want to thank you guys for the amazing summer, you guys were awesome and you made the network a really fun place to be.

However, in the past few weeks there have been a few minor internal conflicts and people have been busy plus the chat has been pretty inactive. We’re assuming the chat will only slow down even more in the next coming weeks or month when school starts up again.

With that in mind we have decided to put the network on semi-hiatus, which just means that we wont be planning anymore events for the time being and you may leave the group chat, we won’t hunt you down and ask why you left. However if you choose to stay in the chat please realize that the admins will not be available as much as we were before so we ask that you confront any issues in a mature way.

We planned to take the network off of hiatus during the holidays but we don’t know if anyone will be interested in that or if you will have the time, so we cant make any promises. And while there won’t be any scheduled events there may be some random ones or you can do random ones yourselves.

Lastly, if you do choose to leave the chat we strongly encourage you PM other members or make your own group chats so you still have people to talk with, but please do not try to re-create the network chat by adding too many or all the members to it, and yes there is a good reason we’re asking you not to do this.

I was supposed to make this gif (it’s so crappy omg) eons ago but today I finally dragged my lazy ass into making and uploading it onto my Tumblr blog. For the past month, I have been really privileged to make friends with some of the most amazing people on Tumblr and hence, I decided to make this gif as a little tribute (if it actually can be called that) to the wonderful Yokoburi Network~! As to why I had picked vegetables for the gif, well, this is in honour of our dear Lenpai for being the awesome Potato-kun that she is! ^o^ Sorry if this is kinda lame but I really want to make something to commemorate my 10k post and at the same, I want to make something for Yokoburi as well.
