My little sister and her NCS group have been nominated for the Social Action Award 2017. Voting ends today & they are JUST behind the first team. It’s practically neck and neck. Please vote for them by liking this photo on Instagram

They’ve been nominated because they’ve raised a lot of money for Safe @ Last, a charity that supports young people who’ve run away from home, for whatever reason, and have nowhere to go.

If they win, they’ll also get £500 to give to the Paige Patching Trust, that helps young people who are affected by Multiple Sclerosis

It’s so funny when people find out I go to boarding school. They always say, “OMG like Zoey 101?!” And I’m always like “No. It’s nothing like Zoey 101 or Hogwarts.”

okay but seriously i really hate the people here at boarding school who “hate” their parents “so much” but they go home every other weekend or every time we have a few free days

but then when other students who live in other fucking countries or across the continent mention being homesick for their family or friends or pets laugh at them and say pretty much “wow you loser you miss your family thats dumb i never miss my family and i board here too hahaha you suck and youre dumb”

I’m Lauren, 18, British, Pisces

I attend a boarding school in Worcester, UK and have done since September 2013. The subjects I’m taking at A level are English literature, psychology and sociology. I’m in my final year here and hope to go to university in the Netherlands to study to be an English (ESOL) teacher.

I play tennis, swim, run and do yoga.

I like all kinds of music, everything from the charts to indie to hard rock.

My favourite TV shows are The Office (US), Dexter, Once Upon A Time, Community and Misfits
