One thing that was common knowledge about TJ was that he was stubborn. He actually took a look outside and - “I can make it.” Stubborn. Chances were he’d be caught in the middle of the storm and be forced to wait it out in his car and quite possibly freeze to death. But when he looked back at Dean and made contact with those green eyes - damn it; trumped by the gay again. 

“Well then you’re gonna have to give me something to wear because I can’t sleep in this.” Jeans, long sleeved button down and boots - not happening.

“You might want to re-think that.” Dean finally let his hand fall to his side again. In the end he couldn’t force TJ to stay, but he didn’t want anything to happen to him, he didn’t know how else to say it. Besides, he was fairly sure that if something did happen to the other man then TJ’s family would find a way to hunt him down and Dean would rather enjoy his company while he could.

He sighed in relief and let his smile widened as heard those words. He didn’t want to have to worry about losing someone tonight. “I got stuff you can borrow,” He pulls out his suitcase and opens it on the edge of the bed. “Use whatever you want, I’ll make us some coffee.”

Dean should have been on the road days ago, there still cars that he needed to help Bobby fix before he went back to work. But seeing Sam finally living out his dream had been worth the fear of leaving town for all these years, he hadn’t run into his father, he could walk out there and breathe properly. But the second he had looked out that door he knew that it wasn’t safe.

Sighing, Dean loosened up his grip on TJ’s arm and shook his head. “C’mon, take one look out there and tell me you think that looks good out there,” He tried to give TJ a small smile. “Just stay here the night and we’ll make sure you get home safe first thing tomorrow.”
