Safety is an illusion. Everything you have can be taken. Everything.
I have decided to start fresh with Selina’s character. It’s a new blog, but the same character. Feel free to follow.

Yeah. Definitely going to be revamping Selina entirely.
Trying to think of a new url *Sigh.*
I feel like I need to totally reboot Selina...
I gotta admit, non-rp blogs reblogging roleplay posts pisses me the fuck off. If it becomes popular, even mildly, it can fuck a rper's dash.
Be considerate. Like it, sure, but it has no need to be on your blog other than the fact that you want to spread it.
It doesn't need spreading.
Spitting teeth
I'm pretty sure if Karla punched Selina she'd be dead. Or at the very least unconscious...
Spitting Teeth
"...." Selina spat blood out on the pavement and wiped her split lip. Claws flared. "Let's see how many times your eyes grow back."
Put 'Spitting Teeth' in my askbox for my muses reaction to yours punching them in the face
[text] Shh shh listen
[text] Can you hear that?
[text] It’s the sound of me groaning.
[Text] Couldn't hear you over the sound of Batman's brooding.
[Text] I know he's out there. Somewhere.
[Text] Brooding
[text] You are a vexatious creature, aren’t you?
[Text] You say this like you haven't already realized this.
Thranduil’s chuckle is deep and low when Selina immediately agrees to his new offer, and he lets his lips pull upwards into a languid smirk.
”Sounds reasonable.” He muses, turning to watch as she settles down in his chair. “I’ve been told that before.”
Humming, Thranduil circles around the desk behind her, one hand resting on the back of the chair she’s sitting in as he reaches forward to open up an email on his computer. “As I’m sure you’re aware, I’m in the technology business. And whilst I’m lightyears ahead of those idiots over at Oakenshield’s, I am curious as to just what they’re getting up to. This is their latest announcement.” He points with the mouse for her to read. “I’d like to know just what ‘ground-breaking technology’ this new computer has.”
Selina tensed when he leaned over her shoulder, leaning away
Legolas reaches forward to take his knife back, his head turning at a sound somewhere to his left.
”Perhaps. But if there is more than one, which I fear there is, they will only give chase. We would do better to kill them now.”
"I'm not much for the killing of things. Even giant spiders.I'm not very equipped for that. Especially for giant spiders." She glanced in the same direction, and then slid around Legolas, putting him firmly between herself and whatever made the noise.
"Tell you what, you take care of that and I'll... run."
Thranduil’s chuckle is deep and low when Selina immediately agrees to his new offer, and he lets his lips pull upwards into a languid smirk.

This is their latest announcement.” He points with the mouse for her to read. “I’d like to know just what ‘ground-breaking technology’ this new computer has.”
Selina tensed when he leaned over her shoulder, tilting away from him slightly. She caught a whiff of expensive cologne, a scent she would always associate with him now. "You know men used to pay a fortune to get behind me."
Slowly she switched her gaze to the computer, eyes narrowing as she lent closer. "Stealing confidential prototype schematics? Cakewalk." She reclined back in his chair, propping her head up on one curled hand. "And don't try and inflate your ego, big guy. If you are worried about what they know, you're not as far ahead of them as you like to pretend. You're talking to the queen of ego. It won't work with me."
She braced her hand against the desk and moved to scoot back. "Luckily for you, I don't care. Flat job for break in and electronic theft of a large company that's not military is two hundred thousand. Any unexpected complications can accrue additional fees. As well as surprises you don't inform me about. A verbal contract is all that's needed. Try and cheat me, and I'll have your prize, and that which you want to protect, on the market within twenty four hours."
Thranduil hums softly, his brows raising as he watches her move to stand on the railing. He’s not convinced she’ll fall, and so makes no move to stop her, resting his hands on the railing beside her as he looks out at the woods.
”I see.” He replies simply, an amused note to his voice. A self appointed queen of nothing. A strange title, absolutely, but undoubtedly it’s working for her. Certainly brings her confidence, at least.
”You must feel rather out of place here, then.”
"To put it mildly." She glanced at Thranduil, slowly sitting to swing both legs over the railing, folding her hands in her lap. "Everything's different here. The air feels different. It's not the same animal as Gotham. I'm damn sure you wouldn't like the animal Gotham is, so be glad the switch happened this way, and not the other way around."
She let the silence stretch, sparing a moment to wonder how she would get home. Or if she ever would. Then she shook away the thoughts and distracted herself by leaning toward Thranduil. "Alright, King Trees. I told you about me. Now you tell me something of yourself. Fair's fair and all."
[text] Don’t avoid the question.
[Text] I'm not avoiding it. I'm deliberately not answering it.
