She pondered. And a bit more. Being a practitioner of magic herself, she trusted that the other had a way to get under the sea since she looked like a human girl that needed air to breathe.

“That…that can’t be right.” She spoke. A hint of anxiety in her tone. “If I stay out of this, then how am I supposed to help you?” A deep breath of air…and another one…aaaand another one. She begged herself to calm down, a hand on her stomach as she felt her fear manifest in her body like an illness. The anticipation that brought from the idea that she would need to submerge in the deep blue was pushing her to point that she could pass out if she wasn’t careful.

“I..I’m going. I’m going! We’ll be fine right? I trust you! Just…just…don’t leave me, OK?”

The witch passed the idea over in her mind a little bit. The cat sounded a little bit scared and Wadanohara didn’t want toe put her into that type of situation, a frown grew on her face but... Well she still wanted to go.

A hand found its way to Chen’s shoulder, a frown turning to a reassuring smile. If she was going to do this it’d be best for Wada to take a much more cheerful tone.

“Don’t worry Chen. I’ll be sure to take everything slowly and clearly- I’ll make sure not to lose track of you.”

With that her physical contact escalated into a quick hug, during which Wadda uttered a few quiet phrases. If the cat began to hold her breath, she might notice a strange sensation, as if she’s still getting air.

“-If you want to take a moment before we go, that’s fine! There’s no rush here.”

Memoca would attempt to hoist her witch to her feet, which was somewhat complicated due to the fact that she was having a hard time standing up herself. Only then would she notice the trickle of blood coming from Wadanohara’s head.

“You’re bleeding!” Memoca would yell, likely not pleasant for the other due to the short distance between the two of them.

The witch could barely control her limbs at this point. She needed a nice bandaid and some time to rest. Maybe a cup of tea while she was at it...

She held her head up with her hands. A sudden spike of pain only now just registering within her mind. Her eyes shut tight as it set in, slowly her almost limp body began to curl up into a ball a few whines escaping here here and there.

Eventually she brought her head out of her arms to speak quickly to the bird.
