So many plot ideas and no laptop on hand. Unfortunately it is out to be repaired. I will get to it as soon as I have my laptop back.
Apologies for my absence. I shall return to writing plots again soon.
Plot idea number 3 - The button
"I have an announcement to make. If you push the button, two things will happen. First, someone, somewhere in the world, whom you don't know, will die. Second, you will receive a payment of one million dollars. You have 24 hours. "
Muse A and Muse B are sitting at home when the doorbell rings. Muse B steps to the door seeing it is their home and find a package on their doorstep. As the package is directed to both Muse A and Muse B, they take the package inside and open it, finding a strange device in it which seems to be a button. Curious and unsure about this, Muse A and Muse B start discussing whether to push the button or not. Before either of them can think of anything to do in this strange situation the doorbell rings and a strange man stands in front of their door. "I believe you received my package?"
After practically letting himself in the stranger explains about the button. If they decide to push the button somewhere in the world a stranger will die. But, in opposition to that, they get one million dollars in cash. He tells them they have 24 hours and opens the briefcase containing the money. After closing the briefcase he walks out of the door without answering any further questions. Will they decide to push the button? What they don't know is that there are more consequences than is told.
Option 1: They press the button and in fact receive the one million dollars in cash. Muse B gets serious guilt realising they might have killed someone and starts feeling really off, unable to spent the money on anything knowing they basically murdered someone.
Option 2: They press the button but do not receive the money and instead weird things start happening. Strange people seem to be following them or appear in front of a window. The more time passes the weirder the situation gets. Someone holding a sign 'follow me' before jumping in front of a time and packages containing a gun and a letter 'use me'. Now it is to Muse A and Muse B to crack under the weight of the situation or to find out what is happening. They find out there is a company behind this with a psychotic mastermind in charge. How do they stop him?
Option 3: They press the button and are rich - Jeej
Option 4: They do not press the button and nothing happens. They are left with this strange experience and the button is gone the next day.
Option 5: They press the button (or don't) and nothing happens. Later they hear they had been participating in a social experiment.
| This is a plot idea inspired by the movie: the box | Whichever Muse pushes the button with or without the other knowing is up to you guys |
Plot idea number 2 - The lost boy
Muse A and Muse B are on a holiday together. During travelling through the beautiful Irish landscape Muse A sees an 8-year old boy following the road all by himself. After telling Muse B to stop, Muse A asks what to do about the young lonely boy on the road. But Muse B is confused, all he sees is an empty road. And with the boy pleading for help to Muse A, it is hard to just walk away.
Option 1: The boy is a ghost that is stuck because he has no memory. In order to move on he has to remember how he died and who he was and Muse A (and B) will go on a journey finding out who the boy is.
Option 2: Muse B is trying to have a laugh and he actually does see the boy. He keeps this up for quite a while to make Muse A crazy. The actual boy is just lost after he missed the bus and tried to walk home and Muse A and Muse B will help bring him home.
Option 3: The young boy is a demon taunting Muse A and they have to get rid of it. But first Muse A needs to convince Muse B that what she sees is real.
| Muse A and B can be friends, lovers, siblings etc. |
My bowling ball accidently ends up on your row, because I suck at this game, but somehow I accidentally get a strike so you smile and thank me and holy fuck you are handsome au.
Plot idea number 1 - Marrying my friend.
Muse A and Muse B are best friends. One day at the end of a mutual friend’s wedding Muse A, worried that she won’t ever find anyone to share her life with and that she will grow old on her own, starts moping. Muse B comes up with an idea; If they both are not married when they are thirty years old, they will just marry each other. Years later they, still not married, Muse B shows up at Muse A’s thirtieth birthday and proposes. This is when Muse A remembers about their past promise.
Option 1: Muse A is actually in a relationship - just not married. Muse B knows this but still wants to come back on their promise for his best friend is not married yet and he secretly always had a thing for her. What will Muse A do?
Option 2: Muse A does remember and has been excited for days, yet now it is her birthday she is actually worried about it, afraid Muse B has forgotten about their promise. It is only later that night when he does propose.
| This can be m/m, m/f, f/f. How they propose is of course entirely up to you guys. |
