Sometimes someone will point out a microaggression in a seemingly normal post. And I remember undoing bad learning is a constant progression
i’ll be honest i still fan girl over my own mutuals
there are some people on here who, when they followed me back, I got excited about as if they were a celebrity. and when I think about it, it's kinda sweet how we do that here, and so much more special than celebrity crushes. To be starstruck by someone when they're sharing their personal, more private self. You're famous to me for just being you.

this post really attracted the lamest people in the fucking world
reposting this list especially the porn.
Reblogging for every single item on this list, plus all of them collectively together.
I love porn
this is my favorite video evcer whats going on
Típico de belgas malinois
Good video showcasing exactly why these dogs are not suited to 99 percent of households.
They've gotten very popular recently and I suspect theyre also being dumped in shelters at a high rate
I can confirm they are.
Which is one of the reasons I reblogged this, I vaguely hope it might make someone somewhere reconsider their choices
Something that gave H.P. Lovecraft nightmares is the work of my favorite artist. In "At the Mountains of Madness" he specifically mentions "the strange and disturbing Asian paintings of Nicholas Roerich."
This is what Roerich's paintings look like:
#hp lovecraft thought penguins were grotesque and horrifying#he was not a difficult man to frighten
Imagine doing this and still calling yourself a feminist.
Alright who wants to see the fat bee I picked up today to move off the sidewalk so he wouldn't get squished (flew away anyway)
*grabby hands* show me the bee!(please) How rotund were they?
Oh ykno
Fat as FUCK
Oh yall really like this little guy
hey boss! i drew your little guy <333
I’m sure someone’s tagged @bees-official
NO NO ONE HAS ONSUSWKAKAKQKQKQ THAT IS SUCH A CHONKY BOY 😢😭😭😭
I will be stealing 🫳🤜
I LOVE HIMMMM HAPPY FAT FUCK FRIDAY
I'm pretty sure the little guy is a sonorian bumblebee, or bombus sonorus
Youd be right! I live in the Mojave - and we share hundreds of species with our sister desert the Sonoran!
Happy 3k to my bee post
Happy almost 4k to my bee post
Some fun facts:
The Sonorus Bee is named such not because it lives in the Sonoran Desert, but due to how fucking loud this species is.
She was very loud
Many desert bees are solitary, but like most bumblebees, Bombus sonorus makes colonies
Bumblebees vibrate at a frequency that causes some flower species to shoot out their pollen at the bees
She threatened me a lot but never stung, just made threat displays before flying off
supermarkets cutting prices isn't proof that competition makes capitalism serve ordinary people. it's true that firms fighting for customers can make some goods cheaper, but you can't turn one possible effect of competition into an explanation of what the whole economy is organised to do
capitalist competition makes each company defend its position against the others. sometimes that means lowering prices, or it can mean cutting staff, holding down wages, squeezing farmers and suppliers, reducing the quality or size of goods, or abandoning places where shops aren’t profitable enough. it produces different results depending on what's most profitable. it doesn't guarantee cheap food and other necessities, and it certainly doesn't guarantee them at a price everyone can afford
it's not like there will never be problems with supply or that costs stop mattering under socialism, but socialism changes which problem society’s set up to solve. instead of structuring the economy around businesses making profits, we plan production around feeding people and using society's resources where they can do the most good. that won’t look perfect in every real situation, but it puts social need in command rather than leaving it as a side effect that appears only when it suits capital

The difference between "There used to be hot summers too,” and a climate crisis.
Look, we all know this is true. But there isn't a SOURCE for this, and the graph itself is basically illegible beyond "ooh colors". If we want to be good stewards of our informational resources, we need to cite our sources.
From a reverse image search, I found the website Show Your Stripes, run by the University of Reading in the UK, which is likely where the above graph originated. It provides temperature data for various regions of the world from approximately 1900-2025. For example, here are graphs for Canada, India, and Papua New Guinea:
All clearly show a sharp rise in temperature beginning around approximately the 1980s, which corresponds with the graph in OP's post. But now we know where this data came from, and we can verify its validity accordingly.
whenever i click on the notes of a song i like and see a bunch of people being like "hate that this became a tiktok sound" i feel so free like genuinely free in my bones. one million aspiring influencers can never make me hate "heat waves" by glass animals. the only time i hear "too sweet" is when i pull up a hozier album and press play. your demonic app has no power over me and how often i listen to my songs #mysongs
