tommy is a frustrated character, not an angry character

like, tommy isn't angry. he isn't seething, he doesn't really operate that way. but he's frustrated frequently. he struggles to articulate himself. he talks about his feelings and experiences in metaphors. this seems to frustrate him, because he can't seem to just say what he means. and when the people around him don't understand, it only makes him more frustrated. when speaking to wilbur, he doesn't sound angry as much as he sounds frustrated and upset that wilbur doesn't listen to him. the feeling doesn't stick, it just builds. even when going back and forth with dream at times, he sounds just frustrated that he can't understand why he's being singled out. he doesn't have anger festering in his chest, he has frustration stuck in his throat.

The TommyInnit Brighton Move Timeline 

Tommy announces his big move to an apartment he did NOT in fact, do a house viewing tour in (his reason being it’s “temporary”).

Tommy finds out from his new landlord that there has been a carbon monoxide leak so he’s been told he can’t live there for at least a week. After he left his boxes (his PC set up as well) inside the new place which. he is NOT allowed to enter bc. again, the leak, tommy tells ranboo that his landlord looked sketchy as fuck.

Tommy, with only his backpack with him, texts Wilbur asking if he can stay at his place for a night because he quite literally has nowhere else to go.

Wilbur agrees. But Wilbur also doesn’t turn on his heaters when he’s sleeping. So Tommy, sleeping on the designated floor mattress, woke up shivering, apparently. and had to wear his own coat to sleep. 

Tommy . was staying inside a public library (it is 9 PM) when he decided to stream using Ranboo’s set up on his own twitch channel . while he stays on VC using the library computer, whispering the entire time. 

Tommy (temporarily homeless) does not know where he’s going to sleep for the night. and is too young to book his own hotel. Tommy does not want to go back to Wilbur’s. (”It’s fucking cold.”) 

He is planning to ring up all his friends in Brighton so he could couch surf.

They are playing on the Dream Smp.  There is a guy standing behind Tommy watching him play Minecraft. 

How is this going to end, who knows.

the whole point is that ctommy's essentially closed off despite his brash image. he's terrible at confronting his and other people's feelings to the point where he would just. shut them down. he's rarely (almost never) spilling himself bare that his emotions are at their ult peak the times he does. hence he's all over the place. searching for the right words, saying the wrong ones. lashing out, angry, hurt, sad, all at once a real fucking messs of a guy who's voice only gets louder the more he tries to push his doors open.
