I have heared from my counterpart nothing much has occured with regards to the zone but I have heared you have gotten married…among things…I do apolagise for having missed the wedding..”.

“It’s quite alright, sire. It was a rather small reception. There’s still some cake left in the freezer if you want a slice. And there are plenty of embarrassing videos and photos that no one saw me take, o’course.”

*She held up a little flashdrive with a rather devious look on her face.*

He smirked a little though, taking the flashdrive from her, rolling it between his fingers"however.. this should be a wonderfull source of entertainment for a rainy day..".

Now what was this, the feline looked familiar somehow, but he couldn't quite place him. Pretty darn huge for a cat though. Still, the amount of chaos radiation clinging to this person indicated he was from his own zone. A mutt then? didn't look very mutated and he had to be sane enough to enter the city. Amazing really...

the darkness is here, one may die... it takes you in, eats you, in, and, out... no where to run, no where to hide, death is close... you can't see it, you can't hear it, you can't feel it... no love, no joy, no happiness, no... nothing can save you...

His lips twitched back into a thin grin that was more of a sneer really as the echidna burst into a fit of laughter. Would he still be laughing if he knew he was responsible for the death of his alternate in this zone..? He had to remain calm and keep his composure, something which had become quite hard to do with the way the negative energy had been effecting him during the time he had maintained the barrier. Something that blasted guardian was doing now and refusing to let him take over again. Blackmail.. tsch…

But imagining strangeling the albino helped keep his cool and his little grin in place while the doctor regained his composure.

“I am glad to see my misadventure with your alternate causes you so much mirth doctor”he told him icily.

“hmm as for what I need.. I need an easier mode of transport between zones.. my chaos control requires to much energy and in case you had not noticed.. we posses plenty of chaos energy… but it’s all negative… you as an…expert… should know what those effects do to the mind…”.

His eyes shifted to him”I would ask you for a way to undo the hex your alternate put on the master emerald.. but I’m quite certain there is nothing in the universe that will make you do that.. after all thats counter productive to your cause isn’t it?”.

“Humor comes and goes. I take what I can get.” A laugh had died down to a smirk, one that he used as a convenient mask. He was excited, of course, but best to not get too giddy right off the bat. Always best to tread carefully in an unknown land.

He certainly did. With negative chaos energy running rampant, the mind slowly broke down and reduced even the strongest personality to mush- unless one knew how to control it. “And what a fun prospect that is. Good, you understand us well enough to know that I won’t do that much. But of course, what’s the fun in that?”

With a snap of his fingers, the Warp Rings on his wrists started to charge up, just in case. “Seems like an interesting proposal. I can’t help but wonder what sort of places you would want to travel to. I do like my technology being exclusive, you know.”

"Different Zones, to find a solution for the problem caused by your alternate here.. "he shrugged"however, if not that.. a zone I can safely take the survivors of this zone too, as you may have noticed.. there's rather few of those.. ".

Such a delicate game they were playing, he could feel finitevus charging up his warp rings for a quick escape. If he really wanted to attack him though he wouldn't be talking to him and he would have immidiatly tried to distort the chaos energy around the good doctor so he wouldn't be able to charge them enough for a hop between zones.

"So distrustful doctor.."he tutted, informing the echidna that he was well aware of what he was doing.

"I am aware you would like to keep your technology exclusive, but really.. I have seen quite a few people drop in through them.. "he shrugged lightly"ah but I do think I can give you something you'd like in return good doctor.. something that would solve another one of my... 'problems'  at the same time...".

“However…” his glowing red eyes narrowed at the echidna ”Your pressence might prove to be more of a blessing then a curse this time.. ah but I somehow doubt you would assist me out of the goodness of your heart now would you..?”

Bit him? The King? Finitevus tried to stifle his own laughter behind gulps of breath, but soon, he couldn’t take it, and burst out laughing. A few deep breaths later, he managed to compose himself once again, but my, the thought was far too ridiculous to keep a straight face at. 

“My, my, wasn’t my other self quite the wild one then?” Harbingers of chaos, just the way he was supposed to be. Let the world lean towards entropy for a little bit.

He was taking deep breathes, meeting the echidna’s glare squarely with his own piercing, glowing red eyes. Really He’d been playing the intimidation game much longer then the echidna had.

Yeah knuckles wasn’t helping him calm down at at all.

Maybe he did have some temper issues as of late.

“Are you hearing yourself? you’re the one who flew off the handle immidiatly, just because someone wasn’t thrilled to see you”he growled.

Oh, this Shadow was good at getting people to back down, Knuckles could already tell.  But it would take more than a glare or angry words to get the echidna to back off.  He growled under his breath.

“Well what reaction were you expecting, jackass?  A friendly greeting and a popsicle?  A lovely bouquet of flowers to match your tiara?”

Ok that was just it, he'd had enough of this knuckles. This wasn't worth reigning himself in over. His pupils dialated dangerously and the glow of his irisses increased as green chaos energy started to crackle around his hands.

His voice was like ice, a lot more intimidating then his previous yelling even if the anger hadn't vanished. No it had turned into smoldering hatred. Really, using this knuckles for a punchbag wasn't such a bad idea, he still had some pend up agression to deal with.

A cruel smirk twisted his lips "ah, as you wish little guardian... you want to play with me.. you should know better... you're no match for the likes of me.."he let the chaos energy leap free, the aura condencing and forming a spear above the palm of his hand.

"I advice you run..."he raised his palm"chaos spear!".

With that he hurled the projectile at the echidna.
