You go about “straight up asking to ship” by saying  something along the lines of   “hey, I was wondering if you’d be up for   maybe shipping our characters ?   Or we could head in that direction and see   where the sweet scented wind takes us ??   Totally cool if you don’t want to or you aren’t    able to though, I understand :)”

If you approach me by saying “I think we should ship our characters because  mine feels this way therefore yours should feel  this way because I want to ship with you”

then I will most certainly say no. Respect me and I will respect you <3
