Hello everyone! My name is Meegs (she/her), I’m in my early 30’s, and my time zone is EST. I’m embarrassingly available. ϟ I’m looking specifically for someone to play Castiel against my Dean Winchester. I had a partner a long time ago but it’s been a few years and I’m ready to get back into it. Basically, these boys deserved better and I’d like to give them a shot at it. ϟ I’d prefer an organic development as opposed to jumping right into a relationship in order to let the characters and their own chemistry develop. ϟ We can start whenever we want, I’m currently doing a rewatch and I’m on season 5. [4/7] KOREAN GODS AND GODDESSES | YEOMNA

Yeomna (염라) or Yeomra, in Korean mythology, is a supreme ruler and fifth of the ten kings of the underworld (Shi-wang), who judges the sins of the deceased and decide what to do with them. He is based on Yama, a wrathful underworld god of the Hindu Vedas.

Yeomna dispatches the Jeoseung (“messengers from the other world”) where needed. The personifications of death collect the spirit and guide it safely along the Hwangcheon Road – the road to the afterlife – and even assist them in crossing the river.

Yeomna was also involved in the Chasa Bonpuli, a myth that tells how Gangnim, a death god, came to be. Gangnim was a human warrior famed for his strength and bravery, and thus was charged by the king to bring Yeomna into this world to help solve a murder case. With his wife’s help and advice, he traveled to the afterlife and managed to capture Yeomna. Yeomna was so impressed by his skill and wits that he made Gangnim his top Jeoseung.

Just wanted to drop in and say thank you. I’m not very good at the internet, but when we threw the album up last night Madeleine and I had no idea you lovely gang were hidden away here. And your response has made me, MH and Tom and all the Devil just combust. With all your heartfelt comments, your stories of what the songs mean to you, the easter-egg hunts (there are a few of em) and the unadulterated love you’ve sent back to us from the other sides of the wood… We are so happy other people out there feel what we do. Know how blashy the world can be, how hurtful the voices can howl and what it feels like to sit on the bathroom floor cos the mirror’s a scary place.

But reading what you’ve written and drawn and sung and painted. It’s made us feel like we’ve got devils in corners. Everywhere. Together. And that’s just shiny cap’n.
