Not my own Dad’s, but I did rock the same brand/style (Hanes redband).

I did once steal a pair of my friend’s dad’s briefs, and wore them threadbare from repeated use. Feels so good to wear the briefs of another sexy man.

What brand briefs do you recommend? Something high end like Calvin Klein? Or on the less expensive end, like Hanes or FTL?

Or does it depend on the person?

Hanes are my current favorite, but only iterations from around 2022 and prior. Sometime around 2024, they removed the trim on the interior fly and I am not into the lopsided silhouette it creates in the front. I now go to eBay for restocks.

CKs are classic and timeless. Their 1982 underwear marketing launch with Tomas Hintnaus was my gay awakening.

Staffords are also classic and timeless. Sturdy and well-made.

FTLs are decent. I rate them high for materials and construction, though I wish the piping in the front was set further apart. It’s a bit too narrow for my preferences. I’d also like them to have a longer fly for when I thread my junk out.

Full-Rise Hanes: I prefer a Small, or a 30 if they’re vintage with numbered sizes.

Mid-Rise Hanes: Depending on the vintage/iteration, either a Small or Medium as sometimes the mid-rise Smalls are a bit too crushing on the goods.

Same goes with most other brands.
