I’m trying to decide what to do with this blog! I’m knee deep in IWTV:TVL right now as well as my 6+ month obsession with the hockey boys falling in love.

All in all, you can see Sam wanted to portray a view of addiction he has witnessed up close. I just hate that he needed to objectify and water down so many characters to do so. At times it just felt cruel.

As someone who’s lost people to addiction, I couldn’t imagine losing someone to an OD then being asked to portray something similar. I would be completely inconsolable

She looks so beautiful and healthy and sober in that final scene and that truly has been what’s calmed me down from crying my eyes out.

I'm sad about Rue dying (though it makes complete sense for the character) and I'm sad at the way Euphoria ended for Zendaya. I think Euphoria really announced Zendaya to the world stage as a serious actress with staying power and I hate that she was not able to (publicly) close this chapter in a more amicable way. Despite the shows flaws, Rue was a deeply flawed character who I loved. Thank you Zendaya, for bringing her to life.
